"Carine and Olivier host a wonderful gite with the option of hiring the adjacent property for a larger group. It is in a remote but easily accessible location in Dordogne, near the river for kayaking and plenty of local activities - the kids enjoyed the tree top ropes nearby.The house is very spacious with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Private swimming pool and plenty of outdoor games like pétanque, table tennis and darts as well as a huge expanse of land for walking. Carine and Olivier meet you at the property and speak good English. They are very welcoming, staying in the property next door for Saturday night checkin and then leave you to enjoy a restful stay for the rest of the week. My wife and 4 kids and I thoroughly recommend."

Superbly located to be able to see all the amazing things there are to see in the area supported by the lovely family and owners of the property.The owners cared about our stay and were very keen to help us and support questions, but most of all were lovely and we even had the pleasure of meeting their grandchildren.Also, Carlux is a lovely spot and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the annual Crepes festival."

"The property is set in a lovely hillside location with easy access to Sarlat and Souillac. The property itself is better than we expected, and we had high hopes before arriving. The host Nicole has thought of everything you’ll need during your stay and the kitchen is so well equipped….the best we’ve ever experienced! The pool is a short walk down from the house through the lovely gardens, with a latched gate and fencing around the pool to keep little ones and dogs safe. Nicole was a brilliant host and available when needed and provided us with lots of useful information about the local area. We hope to be back soon!! "

"With easy access to surrounding areas, the gîte is in a great position. The gîte itself situated at the back of the property, was quiet and private. Our hosts were very helpful, providing ideas on sights to visit. We enjoyed our stay very much. "
