"This was an unassuming place. The staff were so kind. It was a clean room, good breakfast, easy access, plenty of parking, not loud. Stayed for leisure. Was a nice space. "

"Three months at the Tohono O'odham House went by way too fast. The location was perfect for us and felt very safe. Whole Foods, Walgreens, the University and a great art film theater, all within a mile.The kitchen is well stocked and there's a ton of literature describing local attractions. The beds were comfortable and back yard, very private. Host, Kevin, a charming fellow, clearly wants guests to enjoy their time in Tucson. We wouldn't hesitate to return here. It was perfect for us."

"Not their fault, but no AC until 10pm one night and no pro-active compensation. One-side drapery light leak a real drag. "

"Disappointed- The property had a large sized recent fire that affected the hot water. No hot water for showers for almost all the rooms. The jacuzzi never warmed up. Staff kept saying it was working but we tried several times. We were told they would move us in the morning if the hot water still wasn’t working. It wasn’t. We insisted on moving rooms. Several people stayed in rooms with cold showers. Later that night, someone tried to open the door while we slept with a key. Very chaotic. "

"Honestly, it was just okay. The room was clean, so there's that. But the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The front desk staff wasn't exactly warm — I asked to have my Bonvoy number added and got what felt like an eye roll. It never ended up on my account either, so that was annoying. There was also a door being repaired during my stay, which wasn't a huge deal but definitely added to the "not quite together" vibe of the property. Breakfast was the lowlight. Slow service, and I was actually told not to wait at the counter... that someone would bring my hot meal to me. Spoiler: they didn't. I got up and grabbed it myself."

"We loved this place. It was perfect for our visit to Tucson. It’s a beautiful example of the local bungalows in the university district and is easy walking distance to all the hip strips. It was clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended."
