This unique beach retreat also offers guests direct beach access from the main deck. Nedonna Lake is within walking distance and is perfect for fly fishing, so anglers better be ready! Some fish that you can find here are smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, brook trout, and perch. Downtown Rockaway Beach is two and a half miles south where you will find just about everything you may need, including great restaurants, a market, and some souvenir shops. If you want to drive into a larger town, take a 17-mile drive down the highway to Tillamook, which has an amazing and famous cheese factory, a variety of restaurants, and plenty of stores. Manzanita and Cannon Beach are a short drive north, offering incredible shops and terrific restaurants. Outdoor enthusiasts will love visiting Cape Meares State Park, which is almost 32 miles away and offers scenic hiking areas, jaw-dropping viewpoints, and a historic lighthouse.

Inside, the open floor plan effortlessly combines the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Start your days with a mouth-watering breakfast prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen before heading out to explore the beach and find treasures hidden in the sand. The dining table is perfect for a family or group of friends. Then, walk out to the living room and spread out comfortably on the sofa before streaming the latest Netflix series or movie or playing one of the board games available. Stargaze at night using the telescope available in the living area and experience a magical getaway like no other. Outside, the large wraparound deck features a gas grill, creating the ideal setting for an entertaining cookout.

Rockaway Beach House

The house is situated just a very short walk through sand and grass to the long walks on Rockaway Beach! Views from the all glass sitting room overlooking the grasses, the surf and sunsets were beautiful. The house was well appointed with most everything you would want. Very comfortable for three couples and could work very nicely with families. Quiet area with easy and quick beach access. Rental process was easy from start to finish.

Great family house

It is the perfect size for my family. Having two levels allowed for some quiet time. The hike to the beach is relatively easy, though almost couldn't find the entrance I the way back. Loved having a wood burning fireplace but wished we had one stack of dry wood to start us off. We will becoming back and soon.

Exceptional Family Open Concept with Ocean view and access!

We loved the ocean view with the open high ceiling living room with windows surrounding it. We loved the easy walk to the ocean and beach! We loved the hot tub, the hose near it, the family friendly furniture and how clean the house was. We enjoyed the football, puzzles, TV, preparing food, but especially the ocean access. Thank you!!

Great place away from people!

Property was clean easy to check into and exactly as described in listing. The view was great and close to beach. The house was spacious and perfect for a large family or a few small family’s sharing with plenty of parking space. Our only negative was the washing machine never worked right and then finally died but the manager was quick to respond when told about the problem. One recommendation would be to have a gas insert installed in the fireplace but by no means is it a deal breaker. We will be back for sure!

On the beach

Beautiful home on the beach. Pictures don’t show the new furniture or the really large dining area. Old photos, I think. Comfortable and clean. Basic kitchen supplies are needed. We bought salt, sugar, tin foil, coffee, and other basics. Kitchen has good dishes, etc., but we had to get groceries immediately. Nice wood fireplace. The contractor next door was nice enough to give us untreated lumber scraps from construction. There are 15 steps to get to the main level of the house just fyi. We have been going to the Oregon coast for many tears and this is the first home we want to come back to. High praise

RESTFUL AND RESTORABLE

The house has a wonderful view of the ocean. The house is awesome. The size and layout of bedrooms worked well for our extended family. We asked for an early check in and we were accommodated. We had a specific time line for a collage student’s online class. So wonderful that our request was able to be granted. Easy and quick access to the beach was super. This home met all our family requirements. Unfortunately one of our requirements. a working hot tub, wasn’t met. We were very disappointed. The issue with the hot tub was addressed but it was not possible to make the repairs. The home is one that we will consider staying in again.

Best Location But Beds Need Replaced

We’ve stayed here two years in a row during the summer. By far one of the best locations in Rockaway Beach. It would almost be 5 stars for us if the beds provided a better night’s sleep from a full day of playing on the beach.

Deck was so nice to enjoy. So nice to just walk down a short pathway to the ocean. Nice to use provided beach towels and toys for the little ones. Dining room table is very sticky...needs a table cloth over it.

Comfortable home, good beach access, needs a lot of basics replaced

The layout of the home is comfortable - the deck and front room were great for hanging out as a family. The bedrooms were all decent sized. The bathrooms have hand-held shower heads with sliding bar to adjust the height, which is super nice for getting sand off. But if you're a tall person, I think they would be on the short side. The kitchen is small but working. Lots of countertop appliances, lots of ziplock bags, but almost no pantry staples. You'll have to buy your own cooking oil and salt even. The kitchen table needs replacement, it was so sticky that it can't be used for anything. The bath towels and kitchen towels need replacing as well. They were stained and really dingy, even after washing in hot water. Lots of sand toys, kites, and beach tents were in the garage. But only one folding beach chair, so you'll need to bring your own. The beach access is a really short walk through some overgrown beach grass (should be cut back). But then there is a decent drop down through the dune to get to the beach. Anyone with mobility or balance issues should bring a walking stick or get some support for this part of the walk. The washer/dryer are speed queen so they worked like champions. And there were no problems with the wifi. Overall, you are paying for the size of the home and the beach access. All the other "luxuries", like bedding, mattresses, towels, etc. were mostly functional but not nice.

What a lovely stay

The beach access and view was amazing. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and it was super comfy and roomy. It was super comfy nothing fancy. My only recommendation would be to clean the windows there were a few small cobwebs around the sliding door but overall I would rate 10/10!

Great Relaxing Stay

We were here for the beach and this place delivers. Great view of the ocean from the house. Previous high tides have left the short path to the beach a steep, but manageable trail. You can also walk a few houses down to an access - but we didn't use that.This property offered great space for our group of 8. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Everything we needed and more in the kitchen. We were provided enough kitchen soaps to last our 3 night stay. There were many puzzles and games available in the house. For those that care, there was only 1 tv in the main living room, but we only used it one evening to entertain the child in the group.Our only disappointment was that upon arrival, 2 of the plastic outdoor chairs were broken beyond use. There was great response from the management company when I notified them and I had the impression that the issue would be resolved the next day. We did not receive any additional responses, so did not have enough outdoor furniture for everyone. A 3rd chair (which was already cracked) broke on our last full day.
