Great location, service and cleanliness! The breakfast is a French cafe around the corner which is excellent, only wish it included more than only a croissant, coffee and juice, if added eggs would be appreciated.

Amazing Location to Stay for Rome

The location is very convenient to Vatican City (about 20 minutes walk), as well as to Spanish Steps and other attractions of Rome. The receptionist Giulio was fast to respond to any inquiry via WhatsApp and was very accommodating. The room’s cleanliness is superb. Looking forward to our next stay here!

“The location was very convenient—within walking distance to transportation, restaurants, and historical sites. The place was charming, modern, and very clean. The hosts were extremely helpful, and the big jet tub was a great touch! My only suggestion would be to add an electric kettle with coffee and tea, which would take it to the next level. I would definitely stay here again! 😊”

We were only at the hotel for one night but the staff leading up to our staff was very helpful. Since we checked in late there were lots of instructions on how to get in and were very helpful with questions I had about getting around. Hotel was very nice and quiet!

A much better option to a more distant hotel that forces you to rely on metro or taxis. It’s great to be within walking distance of everything you came to Rome to see (you’ll feel more comfortable staying out walking in the evenings). Plus, with its smaller size, Ara is pleasantly quiet and the staff’s attention isn’t divided amongst so many.

Beautiful and quirky

I booked 4 rooms for a family get away for 8 of us. The property is beautifully presented with lovely quirky showers. Very clean and comfortable and within walking distance to everything we needed while were there. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I forgot the lovely ladies name who greated us on Saturday, she was lovely. We did not include breakfast in our package, but did pop into the restaurant, Le Carre Francais, around the corner which was mentioned in the property. Brilliant food and wonderful service. We will definitely be coming back.

The room was small, but recently updated. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the shower being in the bedroom instead of the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Very comfortable room in Rome.

We really enjoyed the natural light in this room. We didn’t use the jacuzzi but it seemed like a nice addition. The location in this neighborhood is great. There are many good restaurants close and it’s close to many of the attractions that we wanted to see. We walked everywhere.

Rome Baby

Lovely clean room and a very comfortable bed. Shower was powerful and the bathroom clean. There is little to no parking in the area so dont take a car. The suites are central to most of the sights, 15 minute walk to the Vatican and about 30 minutes to the Coliseum Handy elevator in the building as the rooms are on the 3rd floor. Highly recommend booking breakfast as the croissants are the best.

Good Downtown location

The location was excellent for our purpose of seeing the sites of Rome. Within walking distance to a great cafe for early coffee and pastry. Close to taxi stand, close to beginning of discovery of Rome sites. The room itself was not quite as advertised. Bed was fine, but the shower was right next to the bed, with the frosted side of windows directed to the bathroom area, not the bed side. Just awkward. The hotel attendant was helpful with information about restaurants etc. The transfer service to and from hotel was a must. Helped to be delivered and picked up at hotel. Location was a plus, lift to third floor helpful.
