It was easy walking distance to the Vatican, restaurants and shops, the Tiber river and famous bridges and the castel sant’Angelo. I loved having a separate living area and lots of fruit was provided. A very friendly host, great stay.

A perfect home away from home!

Our stay at Borgo 91 was fantastic! Spotlessly clean, wonderful neighborhood, great location, satisfying breakfast. And especially the host who is very friendly and willing to share his passion for all things Rome. He had recommendations for places to eat and see art. We highly recommend B&B Borgo for your stay in Rome near Vatican City.

Guido, the owner, was absolutely amazing. Guido responded very quickly to our inquiries, was very accomodating and pleasant. If we needed anything, Guido was right there to assist us. He also recommended a fantastic restaurant to us. And he was right. It was fantastic and right down the street from our unit. The B&B was in a perfect location for us. It is very walkable to the Vatican, St. Peter's Square and Basilica, Sant Angelo Castle among other points of interest. The variety of breakfast items, coffees, juices, etc. were the best we have ever encountered. If you are looking for a place to stay in Rome, don't pass this one up.

Home Away From Home

Such a wonderful host, full of knowledge and love of his city. The apartment is lovely with an abundance of food available for breakfast and snacks. We look forward to coming back someday!

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Rome. It's very walkable to the Vatican. The owners are extremely accommodating and sweet. They are also very helpful ahead of time with planning--from transfers to various places (airport or port), to where to eat, to having a great spread for breakfast! Highly recommend!

Hospitality plus!

A very nice, updated apartment conveniently located 3 blocks from The Vatican. Safe area. The host, Guido, graciously allowed us to drop off our luggage early and greeted us upon arrival. Our room was nice and had a safe and a room key. The fridge was filled with juice, milk, fruit and other foods. Wonderful 3-night stay while we explored Rome.

This B&B was a great choice. It’s in the centre of Vatican City and only a 15 minute taxi ride from the downtown train station. It was very clean and comfortable and Guido, the host is very knowledgeable about the whole area so he offered a lot of helpful information. There were plenty of breakfast options at the B&B and dozens of great restaurants within easy walking distance. My wife used one of the Hop on Hop off sightseeing tours when we stayed there and one of the stops is only a 15 minute walk from Roma Borgo. I would definitely recommend Roma Borgo!

Spacious and tastefully decorated 2 bedroom apartment a short walk from St. Peter's Square. We only stayed for one night but the accommodation is well provisioned for an extended stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated their advice for visiting Vatican City and their recommendations for dining nearby.

B and B excellent value, especially when you work in free breakfast, some of which can be packed and brought for a free lunch, not to mention the excellent tips and even historical background of Rome provided by host Guido. Place is just steps from the Vatican too.
