It was our first trip to Rome so unsure about the areas to stay in. In searching on line I thought Deseo Home looked like a good option as it was one of the more affordable hotels and photos of the rooms made me think they were clean and spacious. I was correct for the most part, except there were two small areas in the bathroom that had mold. They were very small so we didn’t complain but there was also a semi-clogged sink with a leak which management has to know about as the housekeeper kept placing the trash bucket below the faucet. A little TLC would go a long way! Service was good as staff is friendly and helpful. Didn’t try the breakfast included but had a cappuccino to go and it was fantastic, sorry I missed the rest.

Room in poor condition

I wasn’t sure we got the room we had paid for. I queried it with Reception but they said it was a Superior Double room it seemed nothing like the other rooms on the same level. It was a shame as Breakfast & location was good.

It is a very cosy and quiet place in the heart of Rome and only 15 min away from Termini. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They arranged pick up from the airport and drop off. The food was very delicious and quite diverse. The rooms were cleaned every day and there was soaking and plain water in the fridge. Aside from this, there was coffee and tea.

Nice place especially the front desk. He is very helpful, the best part of our stay. I gave it a four for the following reasons: 1. we don't have a kettle in the room and that's really not convenient for us. 2. The first day we checked in the room was little dusty but the second day the cleaning was good. Have to mention their breakfast was good. Love it, with salad etc. Very balanced.

Deseo Hotel is very clean. They have good breakfast as well. But when I checked in, they didn't give us two twin beds as I requested in my booking They blamed Expedia for not confirming it to them. We have no choice but to take the one double bed room. Also, unfortunately, I was victimized by an organized criminals in Rome and took my wallet leaving me penniless. When I get back to the hotel to ask for help to find me the nearest police station so I can file a report. They don't know it, but after looking at the internet they gave me an address which was very far. I went but the address they gave me was closed. After 4 hours of looking for a police station, I finally found one which was literally a block away from Deseo. I mean, I thought they should know important information like the location of police station especially knowing that Rome is the hub of theives.

Couldn't find anything to complain about! Great service, good location, refrigerator with cold water in the room, clean and comfortable, elevator, tea and coffee available 24h, 12min walk distance to the main train station, good price, very nice breakfast!
