Some positives, the hotel is close to public transport and a few attractions, the rooms are a decent size and the beds are comfy. Most of the staff were quite friendly and helpful.
A few negatives, the shower was above the toilet, house keeping turned our heater up to 32 degrees Celsius on the second day and blocked the hand basin with the broken metal plug. We reported the blocked hand basin to reception when we discovered it after washing our hands, the young man on the desk did his best to help us (in fact he was the most helpful and friendly one there - he deserves a promotion), he was unable to unblock it and said that house keeping might be able to fix it the next day as they probably had more tools for the job. Unfortunately housekeeping did not fix it and the sink remained blocked and full of dirty water for the following 2 of 3 nights we stayed. Housekeeping only supplied us with one toilet roll on the day of our arrival and did not replace it. By the morning after the 2nd night we had run out of toilet paper and had to resort to using our own tissues and baby wipes. Despite having NO toilet paper left when housekeeping came through that day, it was still not replaced and we had to go to reception ourselves to ask for a new roll. Additionally the towels were not changed at all despite a sign on our bathroom door stating that they are changed every 2 days. Lastly, most of the time we were unable to access wifi in our room.
Lovely hotel, great service. And walking distance to many local attractions. Shops and restaurants close by

Okej rum, funkade smidigt.

All in all, pretty bad.
Bed was comfy but there's not a lot of chance sleeping with the busy road, tram tracks and train tracks right outside. The air conditioning was terrible, producing only room temp air. When this issue was raised with the guy at the main desk, he said he would look into it and nothing happened. The room wasn't cleaned on the first day and upon returning to the seemingly clean room on the second day there was a..."present" left for us in the toilet, presumably by whoever cleaned the room. Not even sure what to say about that. On the second night, some other guests arrived at 1am and were brought up by the night staff. They then all proceeded to talk loudly and bang around outside our door, this shows a complete disregard from he staff for other people staying in the hotel. I had to open the door and tell the other guests to be quiet.
Alex at the desk was so helpful. We were very tired and he helped us get into our room right away. Location is not bad with the best ice cream place in all of Rome nearby along with great restaurants (Gordon 1 gives a discount to one nearby). It is a little distance from the main train station but if you don't have too much luggage you can walk it. Otherwise, make sure the cabs understand the street as it is one way by the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. Rooms were extremely clean with TV and refrigeration. For the budget traveler this is a great place to stay

Spartanische Unterkunft
Bit shady location and a long walk from the Termini. One could catch the tram a block behind the hotel for easy access to tram.
Location felt unsafe at night for ladies. Very basic. You get what you pay for. Shower was tiny!!
Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was basic.

Room had a balcony with a beautiful garden and table in the back. Very close to the important tourist things of rome. A little offset by how much grafitti there was around the small area of the hotel but past that, everything is nicer. It is very close to the train station which is very convenient. Walking distance to coliseum and romes center
We stayed in this hotel for a week ending april. The room was clean and comfortable. Is not a very noisy area of Rome but is better if you have a room at the back of the building. The breakfast is served in the room all days at the same time. The only thing to improve is the comunication with the staff:is a bit difficult to talk with them in english. Is not a big problem because you can communicate with them but could take some time. Is a recomendable hotel.
