We so enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grifo! The staff was so warm and welcoming and exceedingly helpful. Breakfast was great as well. Would stay here again!

The location was great, a few minutes away from the Colosseum. There was alot of restaurants near by, a water fountain in the corner which was it so easy to refill our water bottles. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They gave us food recommendations. The part I really loved was that they stored our luggage while it was time to check in. We arrived at 9am to Rome so it was perfect. Did not have any bad experiences with Hotel Grifo. I also did send them a message on WhatsApp and they replied super quick.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Location is great. The room and bathroom are so small and not convenient at all. The air conditioner works but not have emotionally cooling air. If you have limited budget is ok because the location is convenient to walk around the city. But next time I would rather paying more to get a bigger hotel’s room with nice bathroom.

The Hotel Grifo was in a nice location, convenient to the Colosseum and to the hop on, hop off bus pick up location, about a ten minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, while small was clean and comfortable although my husband felt the bed was a little firm. The breakfast was simple but a nice start to the day, especially the pastries!

The Staff was absolutely excellent. Best staff at any hotel I ever stayed at. The location is also excellent. The hotel is outdated and the rooms are small with a very small shower.

The top top location within 20-25 min walk to every important places and attractions. It is right in the district I where you still can find local authentic restaurants and trattorias! If you do not expect too much from an old 3 star hotel and use it only to sleep at - then you will feel the real Rome vibes around!!

If i could give this hotel and staff a 10 star i would. The staff was amazing!!!!! I made the mistake of not reading the fine print that we were actually in the Annex building. But Allan came to the rescue. He fixed it all for us. Gave us a room in the hotel that was ready to go as we were very early. The fee was very fair for this and we were so pleased. I would definitely stay here again and again. Marley was another staff member that went beyond to make sure we got to enjoy the opera. I could go on and on how wonderful our stay was here. it was the perfect ending to our holiday. WE LOVED THE GRIFO!!!

Staff was wonderful, breakfast was OK; the rooms desperately need updating. Rusted windows, cheap rollup blinds that have seen better days and cheap plastic shower doors that barely hold up. website pictures have definitely been enhanced. Location is convenient but on the back alley of a nice area.

Stayed at Hotel Grifo in August 2023. The staff is very accommodating and will ensure you have a smooth stay from booking to checking out. They assisted with transportation arrangements to and from the airport and also answered any questions I had along the way.
