Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Everything was functioning and clean.
Plenty food in the area, from €-€€€.
Shuttle service was very nice!!!
Sammy the Manager on duty the day we arrived was excellent, professional and informative. He was courteous, respectful and exceptionally kind. He made our stay there very comfortable with his gentle voice and advice on making our visit to the St Peters Basilica a memorable one. The hotel location was great, the room was clean and simple. The views from the beautiful large windows were amazing. We had the window shutters opened from the minute we entered the room to the time we checked out. I recommend VM HOTEL and would stay there on my next visit. Cheers to Sammy!!
Perfect location. Great price. And very nice apartment with small kitchenette. Will definitely be back on my next visit. The owner, Valerio, is a stand up guy who runs a fantastic place!
Thanks for everything!
I had a pleasant experience with a staff and this is a excellent choice for affordable price as it was clean, very convenient , next to Vatican, transport and many. I'll stay in this place in the future for sure and recommend for others.
Very convenient location to Vatican City, public transportation and downtown Rome.
Was generally clean, but a bit dated. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was available onsite for a reasonable fee ($12/night) with in-and-out privileges. Would stay again. No complaints for the price paid.
Weather was HOT thank goodness for our room having air conditioning. Bathroom needs an upgrade and the elevator didn’t work. A lot of stairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was very convenient for us staying at this location the first two nights we were in Roma. They have shuttle services from FCO for a very reasonable fee. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the Vatican. Very accessible to buses, trains, taxis, restaurants. I mean it was awesome. The staff from Valerio, who was very attentive, Friendly and accommodating to our needs. Thank Valerio for all you did to us. Clara and Samy were amazing too. You guys made our stay in Roma very memorable.
Easy to get around Vatican City and a 25 min. Walk to trastevere nice host and helpful staff. A little loud if you leave the windows open since it’s a busy street in front of the property
The staff was incredibly responsive to messages days leading to the reservation. If you’re arriving past their designated office hours, please keep the hotel staff updated and keep them updated about your arrival time and the staff will make it out to you for check-in. This place was clean, nice, and had access to a fridge, microwave, water kettle, and even a Nespresso machine! The place is within a few minutes walking distance from the Vatican and a bus stop is conveniently right next to the building. This is a great location, and for those not fluent in Italian, the staff is familiar with Spanish and English. I would definitely come back and recommend to others wanting a spot close to the Vatican!
Fabulous! Easy to walk or public transit (bus, metro or train) anywhere from the hotel. The best customer service/hospitality ever! We will return again, no hesitation. And "Magic Street" - memorable - we are grateful for the home away from home you provided us. Leah and Peter, Calgary, AB CANADA
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Being this close to the Vatican was a bonus. I'd also highly recommend eating at Papa Rex, which was the best restaurant we ate at on our trip.
You cannot beat this location, Vatican just around the corner, public transportation, restaurants, and shops. We traveled with 3 teenagers and the room was comfortable, no luxuries, but clean. Great customer service, the owner and the staff make you feel at home. Parking was a real plus in this part of Rome.

Elevator not working
The beds were comfy but making sounds because it’s not a regular bed it’s just a pull out. Elevator is not working but when you book online is not mentioned that it’s not working although they helped us going into the 4th floor going in but now going out.
I specifically looked for hotel with ac because it’s really hot. The ac was there but is not enough to make the room feeling like there was an ac because the ac is too small for the room with 5 people for two queen beds and a twin. I guess that’s how they do it here in Europe.
