This has been a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Rome. Very convenient location, close to everything! The room is very clean and comfortable. The staff has been wonderful with great instructions and communication before check-in and while we were on property. The pick up from the airport was on time, friendly, and very easy! We will absolutely stay here again! Thank you!
Our stay here exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area and with making sure everything in our stay was okay. The rooms were clean and air conditioned with a safe and a fridge. Not a fancy place to stay, but was great for the price and location of it.
Great location and the room was very clean, air conditioning, and good size. We stayed over a long weekend. The only negative was there was the hotel staff is not easily accessible during the weekends. When we go back to Florence, we will definitely stay here again.

The cleanliness is exemplary. It may be called a bed and breakfast but there are no food or drink facilities at all, you are given a very small drinks fridge only. Lift is very very old and you have to rely on other people shutting the door properly (they are not automatic). Not good when you have walked all day and have to the walk up 5 flights of stairs! Reception closes at 9, personally not something I’m comfortable with.
Staff was super helpful with accommodating airport transfer, and held luggage so we could wander the city while waiting for our room to be ready. Room was small but worked fine for 2! Walking distance to sights, but far enough away to not feel congested! Great shopping nearby!
We had a very pleasant stay and our room was very comfortable with a fridge and microwave that helped kept our bottles of water cool and to have fruit in there. The AC was great for the hot Roman days and the location was amazing in between walking distance of many of the main attractions. The staff was very supportive and helpful!
Staff was super friendly and helpful. One of the ladies sent me a list of restaurants to eat at An stores to shop at.
She tried to help me find the place when I was kept coming out of the subway station.
Room was very small, and in rough shape. The walls had lots of scuffs and dings. The air conditioning had clear water marks running down the wall. The bathroom had black mold at the toilet tank. Floors felt dusty. Towels had stains on them (some may be blood). Cover plate on shower controls just rattling loose.
Not represented well by photos. Expect cheap hostel quality for a huge price.
The only problem I find with the property is the elevator is on the second floor, you need to bring your luggage up one floor then you can take an elevator .

A disappointing experience
There is no service. Office only opens at 8am and closes at 9pm. There is no telephone in the room. I had to leave before 7am. Nobody to help with my luggage, I dragged through the court yard to get to the huge, closed Portone that I had to,open to get to the street. By the stroke of luck, the taxi was still there. Altogether a stressful experience.I heard other people say, they will never stay there again!!

The property disconnected the power and wifi to our room 12 hours before checkout leaving my husband and I to pack in the dark as we had a very early checkout. They have ignored my email asking for an explanation as to why this has happened. The bedroom for a standard double bedroom is absolutely tiny and even the electric kettle had to be put onto the floor as there was no powerpoint near the bench.
On the other hand room was clean and centrally located

Very average, bare minimum hotel
The location of this hotel is very central to the major sights and is close to many amazing shops and restaurants.
The staff are very responsive through WhatsApp - however, they are very strict about the 2pm check-in time and do not allow early check in. We were there 30 mins early and they would not allow us to check-in, however they were able to store our bags.
There is an elevator to alleviate carrying luggage up a large number of stairs.
The room itself is okay, no amenities (coffee maker, iron, bottled water, breakfast). The bed and pillows were not very comfortable and the shower is very small. We also made the mistake of leaving the window open and a TON of gnats made their way inside and we spent the rest of our trip killing them.
If we come back to room, we will stay somewhere else.
As an experienced traveler, I always do thorough research when choosing where to stay. I check maps, read reviews, and take extra care in selecting a place to stay, especially when traveling alone. For my one-night stay in the center of Rome, I booked Locanda Parlamento, but my experience here was far from what I expected. I booked my stay at this property and received a confirmation. The hotel even reached out a few days prior to confirm my booking, provide maps, and share useful information, which initially gave me a good impression.
However, when I arrived and was taken to my room, I was shocked. This is not a hotel—it's a room in an old, run-down building. It felt more like a place rented out by the hour, if you know what I mean. The building was dirty, and the room itself was in poor condition. The reception is only open before 9 pm, and after that, there’s no one available to assist you.
While the staff was friendly and helpful initially, things took a turn when I needed help later in my stay. The room itself was uncomfortable, with broken AC, and the temperature was freezing. I tried to contact the staff, but the person supposed to respond was unavailable after 1 am. I had to sleep in a cold room.To make matters worse, I left food in my room to have for lunch, but when I returned, it was covered in ants. My bags were also full of ants. When I informed the receptionist, there was no apology. In summary - stay away
