Otelin bulunduğu konum çok iyi. Gezilecek yerlerin hepsini yürüyerek gezdik. Sabah kahvaltısında verilen kuruvasan bayattı bence paket üründense açık bir şekilde verilse daha iyi olur. Otelin sahibi çok cana yakın biriydi.

Ha un solo baño para unas 4 habitaciones donde caben como 5 personas.. te imaginas? Se ensucia muy rapido y se lava una vez al día. Además que es.complicado estar esperando usarlo entre tantas personas.. la habitación bien.

Für den Preis geht es gerade so

Der Betreiber ist sehr nett. Die Zimmerschlüssel passenan alle Zimmer. Es ist eigentlich eine Wohnung mit 3 Zimmern. Von 3 x gebuchten Frühstück haben wir an 1Tag Frühstück bekommen. Die Baddecke ist verschimmelt, sonst ist das Bad aber sauber.

Rang at the address and called the phone number several times for about 40 minutes until the manager finally answered and brought us to a different address. Essentially a hostel with 1 shared bathroom for all the rooms. Beds are fine but rooms aren't exactly clean. Cracks and chips at every square foot.

Better than sleeping on the street

The address listed for Marcelina is apparently just an office. No one was there when I arrived, and the hotel did not contact me in advance requesting a specific time of arrival or explaining the situation. After about 20 minutes, a man showed up and escorted me to the actual location, a couple of blocks away on Via Varese. (The main name for the establishment is When In Rome.) I was given a large room with 2 sofabeds in addition to a double bed. 5 people could have slept there—but not comfortably, because it was a sauna. Even after the evening came, Rome cooled off, and I opened the windows wide, this room remained hot all night. The air conditioner was feeble and useless. The one chair was broken and unusable. Lamps lacked lightbulbs. In the morning, no one was at the desk by 8:30, even though they supposedly open at 8. The staff wasn't unpleasant, but apparently they don't know how to create a comfortable experience. Add shared bathrooms, and you have poor lodging at a relatively high price.

Thankful despite horrible communication

I didn't actuallly get to stay at Marcelina as I arrived late into Rome and they were unable to accommodate my potential late check in. There was a huge communication break down. We made it to the place before 2300 but they gave my room away and we didn't get the message that they were not able to accommodate the late check in despite messaging and calling them and hotels.com several times. Hotels.com actually confirmed with me that they had called Marcelina and got confirmation that the potential midnight arrival would be ok. Long story short, a neighbor got a hold of the owner or property manager and he came and helped me (and my 2 small kids) find a room for the night which I was very thankful for despite everything. I can't imagine if I had to find a room for the night by myself. So if you are arriving late or need special accommodations, get confirmation before you book especially if it's non-refundable!

B&B céntrico.

Perfecta. Recomendable alojarse aquí si se quiere visitar Roma por un módico precio. Es céntrico y cerca se encuentra la Estación Termini y la de guaguas. Está limpio y el trato del personal es excelente.

Bij aankomst om 13.00 uur was kamer nog niet schoon/ beschikbaar.(wel beloofd) Ontbijt zeer matig: boter op, geen voorraad Brood werdt niet aangevuld 1 broodje per prs.en tweede dag wat droge crackers. Alleen jam of chocopasta. Tafel niet gedekt. Geen schone handdoeken, was wel beloofd, maar niet gebracht. Kamer/ badkamer erg goed schoon! Een bed viel bijna uit elkaar. Wel een top locatie, zeer dicht bij station. Trein/metro.

Mediocre place

Good location, close to the train station (Termini). And that's it. The receptionist was nice in person, but very irresponsible and lazy when we were not there. To begin with, we couldn't stay in the building of the original B&B, we had to stay in a different location because of some works or something, which is understandable, but should have been notified in advanced. We were given a room with not working AC, and one of the beds was not prepared. The guy told us that it would be done while we were outside, but this never happened and nobody was there when we came back. Also nobody replied to the phone number that was given to us. Another guest had set up an appointment with the guy for something but he never showed up. Also we did not receive the breakfast voucher for the last day.

Nous avons été relocalisés à notre arrivée à l'hôtel When in Rome, sous la même administration. Au cinquème étage d'un immeuble avec ascenseur, proche de Marcelina. Chambre climatisée avec balconnet, propre et relativement spacieuse.
