Hôtel, once you’ve been to Mirage and checked in (we were not told to do this until we’d found the Ninfa) is in a great location for the city. We were put in the Galaxy (although booked for Ninfa on opposite side of stairs). The reception to the Galaxy is not manned, closed up all day and smells of mould. Once in your room, it’s clean enough. Clean bedding, towels etc. Bed is not great as felt like it had ribs running across left to right. Breakfast is served in the Mirage. Service left a lot to be desired. Get there before 9am (even though you're told 9.30) or there’s not a lot left, and staff don’t really want you there.
Location is great! At 2 blocks from Rome Termini Station (train, metro, bus, taxi). Lots of restaurants, ice cream shops, little stores, street vendors. Lots of important locations at a walking distance of 15-30 minutes. The breakfast was delicious from 8-9.30 am (a bit short offering). It was advertised that there was a transfer from the airport to the hotel which is not correct but the reception was very kind and inform that from the Rome airport could take the bus, taxi or train and the cost.
1. call Hotel Ninfa 2.walk to Hotel Mirage to get the key. No key for hall entry, only intercom. If no one is at desk, you must wait...it took me until 10:30 at night to enter my room. Pleasant staff.

Deceptive
The biggest problem with this place is how challenging it is to find it and check in , there is no mention of this in any correspondence we received , it needs to improve .
The check in happens a couple of blocks from the location and all you receive is the location in your booking info . Luckily I had a plan and was able to call to get directions .
Great location in Rome , and. It much more than that
We liked the hotel. Despite it being an issue with the shower. The way it designed (partially opened) can cause flood if you have good water pressure. You should keep your eye on the floor inside of the shower space and make sure water stays in…
They have a very secure, like tripled safe, door system. You’ll get your complimentary breakfast at the Hotel Mirage in the same block where they also offer to keep your big suitcases if you want. It is about 7 euros per luggage. We didn’t want it and kept our stuff in the car. Parking garage right behind the corner the rates are tolerable considering the impossibility of parking your car on the streets. Termini the big metro and train station is very close. It was very easy to go to visit St Peters Square or Colosseum by metro. There are a few good restaurants in the same block. The food is great, service is great. Ninfa is far from the airport. So, we had to move for a night to a different Sleep and Go hotel near the airport because of our very early flight and they offered affordable shuttle service. Thanks for your hospitality, Rome!
Worst hotel I've ever been... Actually a lot of false claims about this hotel. It's not a hotel but an apartment converted into rooms. To get access, you need to call a number (displayed on front door) and get to a nearby hotel to register & get keys. So no reception facility at all.
Also, no breakfast included contrary to the info displayed on their page.
But, air conditioning... only from 1st June to end August so if you stay at this location on hot days in May or September, the only option is to open window and get all the noise from a very noisy street.
Also, they state that it's walking distance to Colosseum and other point of interest: false and be prepared to walk a lot.
But there's more: we made reservation for 3 persons and, upon arrival around 2:30 PM 2nd bed was not installed.. Were promised that it would be installed within the next hour but, at 10 PM, bed was still not installed and we had to insist to get 2nd bed installed since they've forgotten to do so.
During our stay, very hot temperature and was horrible sleeping there without air conditioning with opened window on noisy street...
Worst place I've ever been and this site should be deleted from sites proposed by Expedia in Rome since it contains a lot of misleading claims
Photos on hotels.com did not show any resemblance to hotel Ninfa. Arrived at the premises, no check in desk, just an intercom on the third floor and was told to check in at Hotel Mirage. That was a block away. Total deception.
This was NOT the hotel we stayed at. When we arrived, there was no reception and the doors were locked. When we called the phone # listed on the front door, we were told to go to the Mirage Hotel which was around the block. This place was horrible. The hallways smelled like an armpit (I know this to be true because I have two of them myself) and the room did NOT look like any of the pictures shown here for the NINFA hotel. Bedsheets were torn and stained, A/C was disabled by hotel mgmt (we asked about this!) and "concierge" was rude and gave no explanation about condition of the room. The advertised "free" breakfast was NOT included, not that we wanted to stay around any longer than necessary anyway. STAY AWAY FROM THE MIRAGE HOTEL NEAR ROMA TERMINI!

The Ninfa is administered by the Mirage hotel. This was in the info but was in Italian. The Mirage was not easy to find. Once found it was ok and I was given a room at the Miragre. The hotel is right opposite the Termini station for trains, metro and busses but could be a little noisy. My stay was enjoyable non the less.

Very hard to find. The address five. Is not where you check in. That is on the next block the person that answered the p up home was very rude could not tell me actually where to go to register would not let me in the building took me about a half an hour to find the hotel that you actually register in the gentleman. There was very kind, but it was very disappointing after a long flight.
Worst service ,location and staf.Received a phone call on midnight to turn my bathroom light off.I asked them how you know my bathroom light is on and they didn’t answer I asked them do you have cameras on the room and they hung up on me.Don’t stay on that self calling hotel because it’s a scam. It’s not a hotel but a third floor apartment converted to single rooms. The worst stay of my life
No checkin instructions. Had to call (cost me as i had no intl set up). Guy who answered was rude. He told me to google a the hotel and go there to check in. He refused several times to give me directions (it was close but i had no idea where to go). So rude to me. The wanted to hold my documents. I refused. The place was super sketchy! The room smelled so bad i tried to find another hotel but city was sold out. I put the mold stained bedspread in a corner and slept on the sheets in my clothes. Oddly the room was in good condition. Far over priced. The cat urine smell never went away. Seriously 1 give check- in instructions-before you arrive at the wrong destination, 2 be polite, 3 get the urine smell, the stained bedspread and the strange woman’s black hair tgat was everywhere out. 4 put some chairs and glasses in the room. I have never been to prison, but I now feel I can relate!
