Pleasant Atmosphere

Stay was fine. Blood stain on our sheets but we got in so late (2am) that we didn't want to deal with it. Everything else was seemingly clean. Very small room. Musty. No fan in bathroom and since it's so small it just contributes to mustiness. Doable for our short stay.

Holiday stay

Very nice room and comfy bed. Check-in took too long! The only bad thing about this hotel is the hallways - basically you can hear EVERYTHING coming from the halls. Breakfast mediocre - 2nd day there they ran out of several items. Thankful for the Waffle House next door.

Overall good place to stay.

Overall, clean space with friendly staff. The chair in the room was stained and the shower could have been cleaner. The bed was clean with fresh sheets and was comfortable. The front desk staff was polite but seemed like she didnt want to be there. The lady in charge of breakfast was great. Overall not bad.

My room on first floor had been renovated. It was nicer than expected with Kingsize bed. Nicely done shower and lighting. Everything worked including USB charger on night lamp. AC was cold. Carpet was new. Ice machine had ice. Breakfast not available but Restaurant nearby. Check in /out ez Recommend highly.

The customer service was good. The condition of the hotel was ok but not as nice as when we had stayed there before. The pool is the main reason we stay here and it was not up to par. Heater not working. Poolside had random things left lying around.

pillows were horrible. no breakfast. no pool. staff was friendly but didn't speak clear English. noisy. just subpar visit. under construction. machine noise through out the day.

It was good for the type property it was. Varied breakfast options, including hot breakfast items and fruit but coffee was machine made by the cup which is not my favorite. Pillows on my king size bed were about half the normal pillow length but there were four of them. This might bother some but was not a problem to me. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Tub had a small mold ring around the drain stopper which I see often in hotels but is a pet peeve of mine. This room more than met my expectations for a less costly overnight stop in route to my destination.

This was quite a bit of a disappointment for me. Overall a pretty run down hotel in need of a good renovation and more than likely overpriced. Feels like a budget hotel that you'd pay $80 or less for. Just about everything was worn out and needed overhauling. The breakfast was actually the one shining spot. It was well appointed, clean and overall pretty good. Maybe because I had by then lowered my expectations to below soup kitchen levels, I have to give credit where due. Overall, I'd look somewhere else.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, tho outdated for the price. Seems maybe some updating is happening as there were boxes for fixtures lining the hall floors. But overall clean. Unfortunately there was a large group of people smoking standing around the entrance which we had to get thru to get in the building, and someone in our group is highly sensitive to cigarette smoke - wish there was a designated smoking area away from the front door.

Bad Business!

During my stay, I was monitored by cameras. When my son, who attends Berry, came to visit me in my room, the "Manager" raced up the stairway to confront me to tell me their policy on occupants per room. This happened in the hall as I was entering my room. Even after explaining that he was not sleeping there, only visiting, the man continued to argue with me. For starters, it is none of his business who I have in my room. I felt very uncomfortable as a woman traveling alone with two small children. My children were unsettled at bedtime and kept asking me if anything would happen or if the man would come back. If this had not happened, I would have returned because, for the price, it was surprisingly clean. It was not a Hilton, but we did not need anything fancy for a quick trip to visit my college student. However, I will NEVER RETURN to this property again and will pay $20 bucks more to stay at a different hotel down the street.

The building on the outside is good looking. Even the lobby areas. The staff are pleasant and courteous. However, the design of the room was very weird as you are greeted with your wash sink and vanity at the door, with your coffee station on the same counter. The paint on the walls in the bathroom were stripping and the fixtures were also rusty. The room also smelt stuffy and the sitting chair had a big water mark on the seat. When we got to our room, the bathroom was not clean, with the toilet being the worst. I will leave you to your imagination. They quickly gave us another room but when I asked if I could pay for an upgrade on my room type. It could not be done as once you book through Expedia you are stuck with that room. So be aware of that also.
