The room was not a suite - we opted for one of the smaller rooms. The bath was a bit cramped due to its size, but it was acceptable. The staff was phenomenal. When we asked for cups for tea, they delivered them within 15 minutes. The complimentary water daily was very appreciated given we were there during the heatwave of July. The location is a short walk from the train station which was great since we needed to access it to go to some of the sites and the airport. Overall, the stay was very nice and comfortable. I strongly recommend this property if staying in Rome.

Overall we had an excellent stay at The Major. It’s a great contemporary hotel in a perfect location to explore Rome. The front desk staff were exceptional, always ready to help and full of suggestions which made our stay even better. The rooftop terrace was a great additional benefit - fantastic for breakfast and late night drinks. The only thing that was slightly off was the lack of service by the staff on the terrace. At times it was slow and they spent a lot of time talking to each other which held up drinks.
