We had a wonderful stay here. The AC units kept the place nice and cool. Definitely the nicest apartment we stayed at during our 2-week trip. Cannot beat the location, would recommend this spot to anyone.
The picture is of a bright modern looking place. It is not bright, and the furniture is worse for wear. It is above a restaurant and you get some funky smells once in a while. We also didn't realize that when we checked in early that meant we had to dump our bags and leave. They also sent communication while we were on a plane and expected us to have forms filled out before we got there. Also, beware that you have to climb some very steep stairs with your luggage. The location is fantastic though, lots of late night activity and fairly close to many of Rome's attractions. If you can stand the smells, and don't mind a darker living space the location may be worth it.

Photos of living area outdated
I chose the apartment because it's a 6 minute walk from my son's dorm at JCU and it looked like it had a great living space to hang out. The showcased photo of the living area is not accurate. There were no rugs, no throw pillows, no white chairs around dining table or counter stools in the kitchen. Brown couches were there but very worn and black mismatched chairs around table. Even the artwork is different. Bathrooms are nice.
Amazing location but 17 steep, concrete stairs to climb which is challenging with luggage (55 and 85 fit year olds, so mabye easier if younger. Noise exists but that wasn't a problem for us. It's a very vibrant neighborhood.
Cars can not drive on the road in front of the entrance. That's ok in the morning because they can get very close but in the afternoon/evening it's a walk and cars can not get close due to street dining. Yes, that's ok for some but was challenging pulling suitcases from drop off to the apartment. Roads are all cobble stone which is charming but can prevent a challenge for some.
Amenities very basic with a minimalist aesthetic.
Check in was very easy. We were met at the apartment by the property manager who was extremely helpful. Lots of bars and great restaurants within less than a 5 minute walk.
Located right in the heart of the Trastevere, this apartment has amazing access to everything you could want and all the eating and nightlife of a very exciting neighborhood.

Awesome location, bad AC, really rundown small bathrooms
Our group loved staying in Trastevere! The location could not have been more fun in my opinion. Great little coffee bistro that turns into a fantastic restaurant and is open late is right below plus there are many wonderful restaurants right there! You look out the windows and see the party rolling into the morning hours! If it wasn’t for the AC and the bathrooms and the lack of fixing the AC in a timely manner, we would definitely stay here again. However.. The person the owner had communicating with us was on it at first but when our air conditioner stopped working in one of the main rooms he was not quite there for us. I messaged the owner and she was on it right away!! We were there for four nights and there is AC in two of the three bedrooms and one unit in the living room as well. The room without it was impossible to sleep in. Way too hot! So the two teenagers camped out in the living room with the AC unit. The parents ended up having to camp out with their kids for THREE of our Four nights!! They considered booking a hotel but there wasn’t much available and we had spent over $2000 on four nights here so they decided to do their best and sleep on the couches with the kids. I felt so bad as I booked this place and by night two or three at the latest this issue should have been resolved. Italy was in a major heat wave at the time. Those three nights of the twenty four nights in Italy were the worst sleep. The bathrooms are very dirty and the showers insanely small. I would invest in better AC, along with some small bathroom upgrades because the tub was gross and the shower too, which you couldn’t get in or out without touching both sides of it. I ended up giving our friends some of the money they paid back because it was totally unfair. I reached out to Amanda awhile ago to ask for a little compensation and I have not heard a word back. That’s ok. I will just really rely on reviews next time and pay attention to if there’s proper AC or just units and not stay anywhere that the bathrooms are not pictured. Great learning experience now that we are home.
