Such a lovely place to stay and so walkable! Coliseum was only a short 5 minute walk and is next to a lovely park. Felt very safe in the area and walked all over Rome at night. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful as well and quick to answer any questions we had. Air conditioning was also a plus! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome!

Great stay in Rome! The location was perfect — about a 5-minute walk to the Colosseum and surrounded by great restaurants. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The place was comfortable and very convenient for exploring the city. It would be even better with a microwave onsite and perhaps a slightly bigger fridge, but overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to other travelers visiting Rome.

The hotel is in a perfect location. It's a 7 minute walk from the Colosseum and the bus is right in front of the hotel. Downside was our air conditioning didn't work.

So first you to need to understand THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. It's a very quaint and charming little apartment. It's very much more like an air b and b. It's an old building but fairly well looked after and in an absolutely amazing location. The staff are responsive but you need WhatsApp. They were able to troubleshoot a backup in our shower in a few hours but it took a few hours and ate up a bit of one of our evenings in Rome :( Overall we were satisfied but if you are looking for a full service hotel this is not the place for you. If you need a good spot to rest close to lots of restaurants and metro options, not to mention walking distance to the Colosseum, book here.

The room was modern and nicely done. It was a 5 min walk to the colosseum and many other major attractions in Rome. There is a fantastic restaurant on the corner next to the hotel as well as a short walk down to a very nice street with plenty of shopping and food.

Great place to stay and great location. I was able to gain exterance no problem by using whatsapp little place below to have a coffee and pastry before starting your day. I read other reviews about having trouble getting in, but if you communicate with them before hand, its no problem

We choose to stay here based on our booked tours & the positive reviews. This was by far our worst stay in Europe. Let’s start off with yes it is very convenient with the bus stop outside your window & a coffee shop downstairs. You walk 5 min and you are at the Colosseum. However, this is advertised as having AC. Our room was between 26-29 degrees Celcius or 79-84 degrees Fahrenheit. We contacted the host 3x but she kept saying things like “we’ll go explore Rome and maybe it will cool off” this is after walking 20k steps and we’re looking for somewhere to cool off. We killed 6 bugs in a span of 2 days inside the room which felt like a lot. The bed is super lumpy. We took about 3 showers a day to cool off in cold water. Basically only book here if you are tight on cash or desperate for a good location. There is another place two min away that is exponentially better. We never got the AC fixed and the host continued to gaslight us. I also didn’t like sending my passport via WhatsApp and having to call her and run around the building while she is buzzing multiple doors for you via phone call. $36 USD taxes charge for 3 nights which is normal- but on the higher end compared to all our other stays.
