Scam

After flying for 20 h, I arrived to this place to find nobody except for clouds of hungry mosquitos. I called, ringed the doorbell and waited for two hours until the mosquitos and the sun were unbearable. We went with my 80 plus y/o parents and my 10 y/o daughter to a hotel and as you can imagine, finding a hotel in Rome in the middle of the summer without reservation is not easy. We end up in a cheap hotel after paying the taxi 50 euros for taking us hotel hunting. I went back to villa magnolia relais for three consecutive days to find the same scenario. Nobody answer the door or the phone. I called homeaway to get my money back ($1510) and although I paid through the secure payment option homeaway has not refunded my money.

Wonderful boutique hotel with the comforts of home with its lovely garden. The breakfast was fabulous and always so fresh and we were well attended to. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for all that was stated but also for it’s close proximity to the Vatican.

O "hotel" fica numa rua estreita com muito transito e sem calçada para pedestres, portanto é bom para quem chega de carro. O check in é até as 4 PM e não sabíamos, chegamos as 8 PM e estava fechado portão de acesso. Após interfornarmos , fomos atendidos pela Rafaela que visivelmente aborrecida , concordou em nos alojar , sendo que as diárias já estavam pagas. Observei que é uma casa que funciona como um hotel. É confortável, a cama é maravilhosa e o café da manhã é bom. O problema foi a chegada e a localização para quem vai a pé.

Great customer service

The place is gorgeous! Once we arrived we learnt that's unfortunately our room wasn't not available due toprevipid guests breaking the lights. Thankfully the je amazing staff hadn't already provided us with a booking at another 4 star hotel and a taxi to get there !

There are big rooms at the front side of the Hotel and smaller ones at the back. I you care for WiFi reception ask for room at the back of the Hotel.

Pas på, hvis der er betalt på forhånd,

Hotellet er en fin gammel villa med en dejlig have. Stort værelse og god og velassorteret morgenbuffet. Området er ca. 10 min gang fra Trastevere og Vatikanet. Dog er eneste adgangsvej en smal og meget trafikkeret vej med høje mure på hver side og intet fortov. Det var lettere nervepirrende at gå der i mørke. Desuden var ejerens hund glad for at gø længe midt om natten, hvilket holdt os vågne. Internettet i stykker under hele opholdet grundet en vandskade. Største problem var dog, at ejeren ikke kendte til Hotels betalingsaftaler, og derfor insisterede på at vi skulle betale for opholdet ved udtjekning - Vi havde dog betalt hjemmefra, men da internettet ikke virkede var det ikke muligt at dokumentere dette. Vi endte derfor med at betale dobbelt for opholdet! Den efterfølgende kommunikation var meget omstændig og det tog over en måned at få refunderet pengene via Hotels.

Posto incantevole

Posto incantevole. Camere belle, spaziose, pulite e ordinate, personale molto gentile. Posizione molto bella, seppur "fuori mano"... la terrazza del Gianicolo si raggiunge in 5 minuti a piedi. Sono stato lì per un soggiorno di lavoro, spero di tornare lì per un viaggio di piacere e godermi di più questo bellissimo posto.

Sehr schönes Anwesen - Erholung pur

Die Villa ist traumhaft schön mit großem Garten. Sie liegt oberhalb vom Petersdom und oberhalb von Trastevere. Man kann die Treppen in das schöne Viertel hinuntersteigen. Hausherr und Hausherrin sind sehr nett. Sie haben uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Die Restaurantempfehlung war sehr gut. Eine Oase der Ruhe, in der man nach einem Sightseeing-Tag wunderbar entspannen kann. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern da, die sich pudelwohl gefühlt haben.

真的是闹中取静，城市中的一份宁静，酒店自身环境就很美，每天早晨都能听到鸟儿的叫声，已经是第二次去入住了，第一次是和老公一起，本次和家人一起，全家人都超满意。老板人也超好，他会满足你的一切需求，打车，接送机，简易晚餐。本次我们5个人2个房间，和老板商量，因为是老顾客，老板让我们3个人入住一间房，而且还免费提供早餐，超满意。酒店往下直走10分钟内有一家家乐福超市，反方向往坡上走岔路口左转后5分钟内有几家餐厅，真的蛮方便的，这个可以问问Sante,Sante会耐心详细的给你讲解，同时老板真的很聪明，不用多说，就知道你想干什么，交流完全无障碍！！！目前是我住过欧洲这些酒店里面最爱的，一切都好，真的体现了一个词语“物美价廉”，超超超超超推荐！！！完美！！！

Очень понравился этот маленький, уютный отель, имеющий свой зеленый сад. В номере тепло, большая удобная кровать и приятное белье, хороший душ. Что еще нужно туристу, целый день бродившему по Риму! Находится очень близко от Собора святого Петра и Ватикана. Спасибо большое за гостеприимство!

Hervorragend gelegene Oase für Rom-Erkundung

Wie bereis erwähnt, liegt die Villa sehr zentral in der Nähe des Vatikans und lädt als Ausgangspunkt zu herrlichen Touren durch diese wundervolle Stadt ein. Ein Geheimtip unseres Gastgebers, führte uns jedoch über eine Treppe durch den Stadtteil Trastevere - herrlich! Man sollte gut zu Fuss sein für Rom. Das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz ist eher willkürlich angelegt... Die Villa ist wirklich nett, mit einigen Besonderheiten: - mitten in Rom kann es nicht leise sein! - das Haus ist ebenfalls recht hellhörig - für Familien ungeeignet, nicht nur wegen der Lage an einer stark befahrenen Strasse ohne Bürgersteig - uns fehlte eine gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeit im Zimmer - wir hätten gerne manchmal auch dort zu Abend gegessen, dies ist nicht möglich Aber: meckern geht ja fast immer. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen wollen!

Excellence in Rome

We were very pleased with this very nicely kept villa in a secluded area near the Vatican. Our host was extremely helpful and went out of his way in assisting us in every manner. We enjoyed a quiet comfortable stay. Our main regret is we were so busy with tours all three days we were there we had little time to relax at this very nice setting. If we get the chance to go back to Rome, we would definitely stay here again.

A Romantic Roman Holiday

My husband and I recently spent 3 wonderful nights at this beautiful and romantic small hotel/bed and breakfast. The grounds were gorgeous (like a secret garden), the room quiet, comfortable and charming, breakfasts delicious, location wonderful--incredibly close to the Vatican and Travestere (restaurants), and our hosts friendly and extremely helpful. The owner, Sante, helped us buy tour tickets online, gave us invaluable sight-seeing information and directions, arranged transportation to the airport for an incredibly early morning flight, and even cooked us a "pasta of the day" dinner on our last night.) It was a truly delightful experience! Would we stay there again? Absolutely yes!

Mysigt och familjärt

Fantastiskt mysigt och lummigt hotell, ligger sådär lagom avsides uppe på en kulle. Jättefina rum och vänlig hjälpsam personal, hotellets ägarpar hjälpte till med allt och gav de där extra tipsen man så gärna ville ha. När inte någon av de var på plats var det dock svårt att få hjälp av någon som kunde engelska, men med välvilja löste sig allt ändå.

Fantastisk!

Veldig fornøyd med Villa Magnolia, ligger litt i utkanten av Roma (selv om det bare er 10 min å gå til Vatikanet) som i grunn var veldig greit for å komme bort fra by-stresset. Fantastisk service og nydelige rom.
