"Das Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak ist ein wunderschönes, gepflegtes Hotel zu einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (in der Nebensaison!) Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und wurden jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend und höflich bedient. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist gigantisch und hat die Note hervorragend verdient. Wir können das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Einziges Manko: Das Meer ist in Bangsak in der Regenzeit sehr wild und man kann kaum baden. "
"You do not get a room you get a little house with outdoor shower. A big terrace with very comfortably lounge chairs Thai style.
Surroundings are green and lush and in the lake you see fish catching insects. The only “noice” are birds singing.
The beach is a 10 minute walk where the ThaiLife lunch and dinner place is. They also offer beach chairs and massage. It’s all very reasonably priced.

There were three really sweet dogs in the surrounding area and I particularly liked how the staff at hotel appeared to be looking out for these strays, said a lot about the staff at the hotel so got big thumbs up from me.

They say your payment will not go through until 30 days before your stay but then charge it immediately and send you a confirmation and and say any cancellations are not refundable. They also blame it on Outrigger Hotel that they do not refund for cancellations. This is not true - they just keep the extra money and do not send it to the hotel. This is bad...

7km vom Nationalpark entfernt was aber kein Problem war, da ich eine Tour vom Hotel aus gebucht habe da ist die An und Rückfahrt mit dabei gewesen.
Ich hatte eine ganz liebe Gastgeberin. Sie hat super Englisch gesprochen, war total herzlich. Ich habe dort auch sehr lecker gegessen. Die haben dort eine gute Speisekarte mit viel Auswahl. Auch Frühstück ist top.
Man muss dazu sagen, dass es in der Natur ist. Abends sehr viele Fliegen und Insekten....
