Good place to stay

I stayed at this hotel for the first time. Nothing to complain about except the parking, which is quite difficult in the area, partly due to the ongoing roadworks right in front of the hotel. The position is quite convenient, close to main station and to several restaurants. Friedly team at the reception. Room pretty new and clean.

Could have some customer care improvements

Front desk is staff isn’t the most friendly. Both at check-in and check-out it sounded like they we being beaten to do their job. A lot of noise in the hallway at 5am and cleaning stuff knocking at the door at 9am when check-out is set to 11am.

Great hotel

A really lovely hotel , very handy from airport. Very limited dinner choices after a long drive the best I could do in hotel was a sandwich. Really raining so couldn’t go out to the town for dinner.

Very basic yet expensive

Very basic, poor facilities. Price far too high for standard of room. No provision for hot drinks. Shower had to be manually disconnected and reconnected to change from handheld to rain head. Parking limited, cramped and expensive. Receptionist friendly and helpful but had no support to fix any issues.

Das Zimmer stank sehr stark nach Rauch, obwohl es als Nichtraucher Zimmer deklariert war. Es war sehr hellhörig. Ein Lüfter o.ä. produziert ununterbrochen Geräusche. Das Zimmer lag direkt an die Wäschekammer angrenzend. Das Putzpersonal ist ab 5.30h laut.

Wenn man bisher in einem Zelt seinen Urlaub verbracht hatte, mag die Wohnung eine Verbesserung sein. Für uns war sie nicht geeignet. Bereits das Einchecken war problematisch. Im Vorfeld hatte ich versucht über die in der Reservierung angegebenen Telefonnummer den Vermieter zu erreichen. Leider vergeblich. Über die Nummer war niemand erreichbar. Vorort trafen wir auf nette Leute, die jedoch kein Wort Deutsch sprachen und wir erst nach einigem hin und her erfuhren, dass sich der Wohnungsschlüssel im Schlüsselsafe befindet. Die dazugehörige Nummer wussten sie jedoch nicht. Erst nach nach einiger Zeit konnten sie diese in Erfahrung bringen. Die Ferienwohnung war ernüchternd! Winzig klein, mit einem durchgelegenen 1,20 m breiten Bett. Nichts für rückengeschädigte und schon garnicht für zwei Personen. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers war sehr einfach und am Küchenschrank fehlte der Griff. Die Schrauben der Befestigung schauten noch heraus. Das Bad mit der Toilette war winzig. Ablagefläche gab es keine und das Waschbecken hatte Puppenstubengröße. Von den drei gebuchten Nächten verbrachte mein Mann die erste Nacht auf dem Boden, da er nach kürzester Zeit im Bett starke Rückenschmerzen bekam. Decken hatte wir Gott sei Dank von zu Hause mitgebracht. In der zweiten Nacht nahm er bereits vor dem zu Bett gehen Schmerzmittel um die Nacht zu überstehen. Am nächsten Tag sind wir vorzeitig abgereist. Mit Abstand die schlechteste Unterkunft die ich jemals bei Expedia gebucht hatte

Hotel und Frühstück waren sehr gut, das Einzige, was mir nicht gefallen hat, war der Service. Keine Wasserlasche auf dem Zimmer. Mixgetränke an der Bar wurden ohne Eis serviert. Der Empfang wortkarg. Eine nette Begrüßung mit einer kurzen Einweisung wäre schön gewesen.
