Friendly, retro hotel

When we first arrived, the hotel seemed basic and a bit dated, but it really grew on us. First of all, the staff were great. The room was spacious, with two windows onto a landing filled with plants. The bathroom, perfectly functional and surprisingly large, with quiet a/c and ceiling fan. I was a bit worried about noise (we could hear neighbours through the courtyard in the daytime,) but it was perfectly quiet both nights. The breakfast was a good value continental style with strong drip coffee. The bar with Danish modern chairs and outdoor terrasse added vibrancy to the hotel. Location was perfect (steps from the beach, market, restaurants) and close to free parking, which staff can direct you to. An understated gem!

Der Ort Roses liegt wunderschön und hat einen langen und breiten Sandstrand. Ein wunderbarer Ort mit schöner Altstadt und auch als Ausgangspunkt für die Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Das Hotel liegt in der dritten Reihe, ist dadurch aber auch ruhig. Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber trotzdem einen gewissen Charme.

Une semaine dans un hôtel ** où le rapport qualité prix est convenable! Le personnel est très accueillant, le petit déjeuner est assez copieux et un service bar avec un personnel jeune et souriant... Petit bémol: un énorme cafard dans la chambre et les chambres sont très mal insonorisées

Hôtel familial très sympathique et très accueillant à tous points de vue. C'est ce contexte familial qui établit la continuité de notre quotidien. Personnels très gentils et souriants. Repas très copieux et très bien prépares sous forme de buffet froid et chaud. Petit déjeuner idem. Franchement je le recommande. Par ailleurs ile est situé à cinquante mètres de la "promenade des anglais".

nous avons eu le privilège de louer une chambre pour 5 (pratique pour les grandes familles avec des petits bouts). c'est rare et trés appréciable. le prix est correct et le déjeuner sympa. je trouve par contre l’hôtel moyen moins sur son niveau de vétusté. Les sols sont dégradés... reste correct pour le rapport qualité / prix.

I guess I didn't realize this hostel was a hotel until I got to my room (I was glad about this because even though it's pretty cheap for a hotel, it's a little pricy for a hostel). There's nothing wrong with this place, it's just an older building and the rooms are very basic. I really appreciated how quiet it was at night and I slept very well.

Très bien pour un vourt séjour, central.

Hôtel très simple mais propre pratique et bien situé (mer et rues piétonnes à deux pas) Chambre suffisamment grande, ascenseur, parking à proximité proposé par l'hôtel peu cher. Petit déjeuner buffet copieux et varié sucré et salé. Personnel très aimable. Possibilité de déjeuner et dîner ( non testés). Terrasse. Service lingerie. Super rapport qualité-prix.

had a great time at hostal rom ,loved roses,dont go for a british type holliday,mostly spanish and french in resort,we were made welcome in all the bars and great restaurants we visited.
