The Codex museum was not open, when it should have been. Drive up to centro storico is steep. So be prepared. Not far from Rossano alto is a wonderful agriturismo where we enjoyed an excellent late lunch.

Booked this last minute and really enjoyed our stay. We were warmly greeted on arrival and as it was late they found us a dinner reservation (which was lovely) and showed us around the stunning property. The room was lovely and the breakfast a treat - their own marmalade is delicious!
