This hotel is not a boutique hotel and doesn't claim to be so, its traditional and a bit quirky, but clean, comfortable, in a great location with parking as a plus

Nice room, close to the historical centre and very friendly owner. Too bad I was forced to have diner elsewhere because it rained, would have been perfect to have diner at the hotel.

The hotel was perfectly situated just outside the walled city of Rothenberg and included parking. Our family was able to come and go without the stress of moving our vehicle and paying for parking. The spacious quadruple room was in a loft with charming furnishings and living spaces. The hotel staff were warm and helpful. There were many lovely flowering gardens on the property. Our family chose not to book breakfast for the additional fee so I cannot speak to that experience.

Excellent location just outside the Walled city but for a few Euros more would recommend the Hotel across the street. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Sparse choices that were not replenished. Soft boiled eggs, sliced cheese and cold cuts, bread rolls, jam, cereal and some desserts. It was our understanding that the Breakfast was half of what the grumpy old man insisted it was. It was certainly not worth it. Also upon departure, the lady insisted that the payment had not been made for the second room. I insisted that it had. Neither owner spoke any English. After 10 minutes of discussion she acknowledged that the payment had indeed been made.

Nice comfortable hotel and welcoming. We had attic room which was nice clean and comfortable but if i stay again i would choose one of the rooms on first floor which appeared better. However our room was good value for money and great location from station and next to old town. Also had good parking

The basic room was very nice, the location was great, and the bed was comfortable, however the check-in staff were, while very friendly, not terribly fluent in English and messed up our desire to have breakfast at the hotel, as a consequence we were served a very lackluster breakfast after having to wait 15 minutes with zero on the tables, them not thinking there would be anyone that day. And yet we were charged full price, which was more than a bit disappointing. Also, the hotel is virtually unstaffed all day. There was, literally, not a soul around for virtually the entirety of our 3-day, midweek stay. There is notionally a restaurant & bierstube on site, but we never saw a soul there and the lights were always off. The rooms are not cleaned in the day, simply tidied, which was a bit of a surprise as well. I really can't recommend this hotel.

Un excelente servicio al cliente por parte de su dueño! Todos los detalles cuidados. La habitación super cálida y silensiosa. La calefacción excelente. A 200 mts de la ciudad amurallada y a 500 mts del centro con múltiples opciones comerciales y de restaurantes. Hermosas atracciones en la ciudad. Un desayuno de altísima calidad y super abundante.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und direkt an der Stadtmauer gelegen In der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Unterstell und Lade Möglichkeit für die Fahrräder. Einzig das Frühstück war mit 18 € pro Person gegenüber anderen Unterkünften relativ teuer. direkt gegenüber ist ein sehr schöner Biergarten.
