"We loved our stay here. Except they could not get the fire going in our room and it was 45f and we froze. The other room heat kicked on and they were fine. If in the winter and staying in the family lodge make sure you have heat. Never expected to be cold in Africa! The animal safari was fun. Meals and views were great. Even had elephants walk by while we were enjoying breakfast! Would go back and stay for longer."

"The overall stay was excellent. Breakfast had so many options, each dish was unique. Dinner at the Bombay Brasserie was out of the world, each dish fresh, delicately flavored and distinctive!! Of special mention - the honesty of the housekeeping staff. I had dropped some cash, leaving the room, unaware of my loss. When I returned, there was a note by security, with all the cash intact. I would recommend Taj in Cape Town for a wonderful stay in a prime location with an amazingly helpful cheerful staff."

"Beautiful location and excellent hotel. The rooms has everything you would need and very clean. The staff are very friendly. The on premise restaurant is excellent and the dinner we had in the evening we arrived was excellent. Right along the sea front and the walks are so pleasant."
