Our home is nestled on a dead end road and a wooded 1.75 acre lot. Who will love this? Families looking for bonding time, Couples looking for romance and relaxation. Bridal parties! Families who want to host a larger family event, great extra space for meal times and game time. Great location. Right on the river with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time relaxing, making meals and enjoying the fireplace. The sauna was a great added bonus!

We loved the cabin. Kitchen was well equiped for all of our cooking needs. The location by the river was gorgeous. We were there during a weekend snow storm...absolutely stunning ! We did have a couple hickups the first evening, but the hosts responded quickly to resolve the issue. All in all....a perfect weekend ! Looking forward to visiting this cabin again !

Our group of four friends from college met up here for our annual weekend together. The setup was great for us with the cozy living area and private outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were so appreciative of the bottle of wine the host left for us. We will certainly consider staying here again in future years!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin on the river. We had a few hiccups at the start but the owner was very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the loft area for the kids and the beautiful stone fireplace. The sauna was a nice feature as well. We used the blackstone outside to grill on and enjoyed walks in the area. Just a note the bedrooms upstairs are heated with space heaters. They are plenty warm but good to know. As noted, there is an exposed floor which is concrete with pebble stones. If you have a crawling baby or toddler not steady on their feet it is not ideal and can hurt. Otherwise a great place to stay with friends or family!

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin while visiting family in Royalton. The cabin is gorgeous and the grounds are lush and well kept. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our time, even a Blackstone on the patio. The property is close enough to everything you need but still very private. We would definitely stay again and recommend the property to anyone who enjoys the great outdoors!

We picked this property for its central location. Everyone had about a 2 hour drive. The kitchen is well stocked with crockpot, toaster, waffle maker, blender, mixer, air fryer. There is not a dishwasher, but I think the best conversations happen when washing and drying dishes. We loved the jetted tub and sauna. The central fireplace was nice. The loft living room was well used. There was two days where we never went outside. The view was beautiful and we were visited by many birds. We played games and did puzzles. birdshappe

The house and property are beautiful, and the hosts are very gracious! Every member of my party was very pleased with the accommodations. If we ever have the need to stay in the area again, this place will be our first choice. My only suggestion for improvement is to provide better lighting inside in the bedrooms and outside by the garage entry door.

We really enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely come back. Venue is a beautiful, secluded site, and provided just what we needed this trip-an environment of rest and restoration. Loved the hot tub and sauna. Would recommend adding either blinds or a curtain in the upstairs bathroom for more privacy, even though the window only faces woods. Thanks for all you do to make the guests feel welcome.

The fire pit was awesome! We loved the charcoal and propane grills and also the black stone! The patio was really nice. The lighting in the kitchen could have been better. The bed in the pull out couch upstairs was very poor. Overall, it was a great experience!

This cabin was so beautiful and peaceful! If you are looking for a place to get away that is not a plane ride away, I would highly recommend. The house is fully stocked with everything you need but you will not spend much time indoors. The patio, firepit area, and short walk down the hill to the river was where we spent the majority of our time. The host was also amazing to work with! She was very responsive and accommodating. We are already talking about a return trip in the future. Thank you for the great memories!

This house was perfect for our family and parents to stay and get ready for our son's wedding. The house was very clean and stocked very nicely. The host went above and beyond our expectations to help make sure everything we needed she would help us out if she could. This is a beautiful cabin in the woods right up against the Mississippi river. There is lots of wildlife around and many great views. The host was very easy to communicate with and solved any issues very quickly. We loved our weekend here! The first floor surface is a unique pebble rock in concrete. It is a little odd on the feet at first, so bring thick socks or slippers. The sauna is a wonderful addition. We will be back!

The log home was awesome, the setting spectacular, and our family retreat amazing. Everyone had a great time relaxing and spending time together. The home was as advertised and much more. The home was very clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, great wifi, and a very nice patio to enjoy the fantastic setting. Loved the rustic interior and furnishings, and our hosts Penny And Chris played everything out perfectly in their welcome letter. We will be back again. This was a perfect place for a chill Bachelorette party. We went kayaking with Evergreen Outfitting and then spent the rest of the time hanging out at the cabin. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies for cooking and had everything we needed. There were plenty of sleeping places and everything was clean and comfortable. The cabin is rustic which we enjoyed, but as another guest said shoes are recommended downstairs due to the pebble floor. The floors are really cool just a bit rough on your feet. We loved the place and highly recommend!

One could describe perfection as “those who strive to make experiences great for others”. That’s how I would classify the owners Royalton log cabin. Our stay was over the top on so many levels. The cabin was pristine, gorgeous & utterly delightful. My only other comment is: Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The home is lovely & the owners saw to every detail. 11 out of 10 stars.
