we had a lovely time with Cecile and family. The house and its grounds are beautiful, quiet and with a lovely warm pool and play area for the kids. You will need a car to get about, although the peaceful location was why we picked here, and there are lots of picturesque villages and attractions within easy reach. Cecile and her husband are the best hosts I've ever met, going above and beyond for us given our complete hopelessness in knowing any french, helping us to learn some of the language as well as making every effort to ensure our stay was exceptional. Thoroughly recommend.

A very enjoyable stay😊

Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local village. A delightful breakfast was provided by our host Cecilia who was so welcoming, informative and patient with my efforts to speak French. Breakfast consisted of the most amazing pastries I've ever had (and I've had quite a few), bread, jam, cheese, yoghurt - all produced a stones throw away. The room was lovely, extremely clean (and I am a bit OCD) and our daughter had a little separate bedroom next to ours which I didn't realise when I booked it but it was great and she loved it. No TV but that was fine for me (I think my other half missed it though) and lots of information on local restaurants and places to go/things to do. If we were to visit again, we would consider staying in a cottage where we would be able to rustle up some dinner. NB. I think there are some old photos of this chateau on some of the holiday websites - ignore them. The room we had (?The Angels) was a delight, spacious and modernised where necessary - shower, sink and cabinet etc but still retaining the stunning original features - doors and floors etc.

Beautiful building, very well furnished in an outstanding location. The reception was warm and welcoming from owners who clearly enjoyed sharing their B + B with their guests. Would recommend to others and definitely use again.

Book it! Great place, family owned!

Great place! Love this B&B run by a wonderful French family. Very nice property kept in spotless clean condition. Great for a family stay pool and ping pong tables, Would be a super cute place for a wedding. Great breakfast! We would love to go back some day!

Fabulous!

A fabulous find. Great hosts and the location was perfect to visit the Normandy beaches and to get the ferry home. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

The rooms are big by American standards and huge by European standards. They were great! The staff spoke limited English and we speak very limited French but we were able to make it work. We’d stay here again!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Les hôtes sont extrêmement sympathiques et ne ménagent pas leur efforts pour donner satisfaction. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, tout est frais, la confiture est "faite maison", c'est un régal. La piscine couverte est à bonne température et on peut s'y détendre à loisir. Les conseils de restaurant des environs sont judicieux et appréciés ! Merci pour ce WE de détente en campagne.

Belle demeure en Normandie

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour très reposant en pleine campagne normande à la Part des Anges. La grande chambre avec salle de bain est très propre, comme toute la maison d'ailleurs. La grande piscine chauffée et couverte est un vrai plus! Le petit-déjeuner copieux avec confitures maison, fromage, brioche, viennoiseries est un régal ! Mais surtout l'accueil de nos hôtes a été formidable, ils sont fort sympathiques et très à l'écoute. Merci pour tout.
