If you are planning a vacation together with several families or want to organize a family party or meeting in a quiet environment, this house on Strynø is a good choice. In the combined dining and living room there is plenty of space for coziness, games and socializing. And the garden offers just as much space and possibilities to enjoy yourself in all kinds of ways.



On the island there is a beautiful, varied nature and many opportunities for cycling and hiking. The best place to swim is on the south side of the harbor, where a raft is moored in the summer. To the west of the toilet block is a small playground. There are two restaurants on the island, open mainly in summer or by appointment.



The village, which is worthy of protection, is an unusual sight. The small, well-preserved sailor's houses with their cozy gardens and narrow, winding streets are now a feature of Strynø and well worth a stroll. Galleries and small flea markets are everywhere. In the center of town is a tall flagpole with benches around it. Every year in May the maypole is erected with celebrations, speeches, music and singing. Strynø is a small island in the South Fyn archipelago and is about 35 minutes by ferry from Rudkøbing. Visitors experience the special peace and quiet of the small islands. Øhavets Smakke- og Naturcenter offers activities for children, sea kayaks, smakkejoller and an exhibition about the archipelago.
