Gorgeous home in Rudkøbing with sauna

Relax in this stylish holiday home on Langeland, where a light-filled open-plan interior leads naturally out to the terrace. The contemporary living area combines the kitchen, dining space and lounge beneath a high ceiling. Pale wooden floors and white walls give the interior a clean, understated character, while the long dining table forms a natural centrepiece. Large glazed doors extend along one side of the room, bringing in plenty of daylight and connecting the interior with the outdoor area. A wood-burning fireplace adds character to the lounge. Step through the doors onto the wooden terrace, where the covered section provides a pleasant spot for spending time outdoors.

Around Rudkøbing, the island of Langeland offers a landscape of coastline, fields and small communities to explore on foot, by bicycle or by car. Rudkøbing itself rewards a wander through its historic streets and harbour, with shops and places to eat along the way. Elsewhere on the island, beaches, coastal walks and the wild horses of southern Langeland bring nature into the heart of a leisurely Danish escape.
