"We spent the weekend (Friday, 5 PM until Monday, 10 AM), at this beautiful property. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our two sons and their families, 11 people in total. This property was perfect for that celebration. The teenagers took over the basement bedrooms, the old folks (us) took the main floor bedroom, the younger grandchildren slept in the bunk room and our two sons and daughters-in-law-slept upstairs.There is so much to do. The grandchildren were entertained by the pool and the electronic game table. The young ones liked the playground. We all loved making s'mores by the beautiful fire pit. The adults (minus the old folks) enjoyed the hot tub. There was plenty of room for game playing. The coffee/cocoa bar was well-received and the table was large enough for us to eat together. The pancake station was a success.There were really only two negatives. We found the sound detection system very intimidating. We are a quiet family, although the young children (5-8 years old) did sometimes forget to use their “inside voices” when they were winning at the games we played. We found ourselves constantly checking the monitor to make sure we weren’t violating the rules. Also, we could never get the golf simulator to be more then a driving range. Some instructions for that amenity would have been helpful.Overall, the property is exquisite. We have stayed at a number of VRBOs and this one is outstanding."

"I would give more stars if possible. The photos listed don't do this rental justice. Check in was super smooth, hosts were awesome and the views were amazing. It actually felt like a tree house. A really large one! Private and secluded, yet minutes from town. Definitely will stay again. Soon I hope!"

"We have been coming to Powers Lake for almost 50 years! The house was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed the large space and cleanliness of the house. The deck was great for evening games of Yatzee and conversations. We enjoyed our morning coffee with a beautiful view of the lake. The large kitchen was perfect for meal preparation and gathering around the large kitchen table. Although the stairway to the bedrooms was a little daunting, it was no problem for my 90 year old mother. We appreciated the gate at the top to avoid a late night tumble! The beds were very comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean. The host, Katie, was very responsive to all of our inquiries. Overall, it was a wonderful experience."

"This was a great vacation spot for us. There were 19 of us and plenty of room. The property and house were both clean upon arrival. The code for the front didn’t work upon check in but they fixed it immediately when I called. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, utensils. There was enough dishwasher pods for the whole week. We brought up our own garbage bags and used them so I recommend bringing a box. We were lacking kitchen towels though so we used our bath hand towels to dry dishes. One thing to note, one of the bedrooms on the main floor is very tiny. No closet, no dresser and no room for your suitcase so that was a bit of a challenge. The photos on the VRBO show a dresser so whoever stays in that room needs to put their suitcase/bag in the front foyer area maybe? We were within walking distance to some of the local bars. We found a volleyball net and pickleball courts at nearby Legion Park. The thermostat kept going up to 76-78 degrees though. We weren’t sure if our own family members were doing it and not fessing up to it or if it was programmed that way but a few nights we were uncomfortably hot. The pool water was chilly at 83 degrees. We tried to get it warmer but it never went above 83. If we had hotter weather for the week, I’m sure the water temp would have been fine. I will definitely come back to this property. I highly recommend it and the owners were very easy to work with."

"Lake Daze was amazing and as advertised. Plenty of room for all 12 of us that stayed for sleeping and cooking/eating together. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we needed. Lake Powers was very clean and great for fishing, swimming, and boating all day long. We got great use out of the 2 kayaks provided and paddle boat. Rented a boat for the week and very accommodating to tie up to the dock in our backyard!Communication was great and always there to answer and question."
