The vents were dusty, and the top of the refrigerator was extremely dirty. We had set a cooler on top, and when we took it down, a noticeable amount of dust and dirt came with it. The breakfast was your typical continental setup, but unfortunately, the experience was impacted by the staff. One staff member was particularly unfriendly — my son asked a simple question about the waffle maker and was spoken to harshly, as if he had done something wrong. That interaction felt unnecessary and unprofessional. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided great recommendations for local restaurants, which we appreciated. The surrounding area of the hotel felt a bit run down, though there are a few bars and grills within walking distance. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and customer service in the breakfast area, this could be a much better overall experience."

"My wife and I enjoyed the hotel. Between the price and how old the building is, it was a very wonderful stay. It was very clean, parking was in the back so it was very simple, and the staff was super kind. "

"Not the best experience overall. The room itself was clean, but the bath floor towel and some of the linens were stained. They appeared to have been washed, just worn and outdated. Our window rattled, although my handy husband was able to fix it. The second-level exit door near our room was locked, but there were visible gaps around it, which didn’t feel very secure. The hallway cleanliness also left something to be desired. When we returned to the hotel, there was an older woman eating pizza in the entryway. She was still there later that night. She didn’t appear to be a guest and may have been homeless, which made the situation feel uncomfortable. I suppose you get what you pay for sometimes. That said, the front desk staff was excellent—very friendly and helpful. They even called shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was okay, which I really appreciated."
