This is a modern, quiet and clean hotel. Great for my needs as I was here for a conference at the University. Close to the train station and buses to the University. Also walking distance to entertainment and restaurants. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Nice hotel but bad experience

Spending two nights for business in Saarbrucken. The Hotel was nice and the personnel at the checkin was very nice and kind. Breakfast was good. The position of the hotel was nice as it is close to the central station and not so far from the city center. The problem: the sink in the bathroom was stuck and the water was not flowing. I immediately ask for a technical intervention but at the reception they told me that the technician is not working during the afternon (my checkin was at 3pm) and the day after I would have the sink fixed. The next day, there was no intervention and I left the hotel with the sink stuck. First, the hotel should have offered me another room and, even worse, they did not fix the problem.

Disappointed

disappointed that they do not hv kettles, coffee machines run their rooms. Disappointed that they asked that I pay extra to stay 2 hrs longer in room, especially after staying more than 15 nights in the hotel over the last 3 months. No lunch or dinner service and no effect to make the 'small bar area' feel a little cosy so you feel relaxed.

Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant, obwohl es. im Internet aufgeführt ist. Die Rezeption begründete das angegebene Restaurant mit Frühstück. Internetzugang (auch aufgeführt im Internet) gibt es nur in Verbindung mit einer Mitgliedschaft. Wenig Aufmerksamkeit beim Service an der Bar. Nach der ersten Nacht wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt.

Es war alles sauber. Die Lage ist super, direkt gegenüber des Congress-Zentrums. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist modern, die Zimmer sind ganz gut isoliert. Der Föhn im Badezimmer hat ausreichend Power! An einem Tag wurde das Zimmer trotz Buchung des Reinigungs-Service zunächst nicht gemacht. Auf Nachfrage wurde dies jedoch sofort auch am Nachmittag noch nachgeholt. Wir hätten gern noch ein paar Kleiderbügel gehabt. Auf Nachfrage sagte man uns, man würde welche aus dem Lager holen und aufs Zimmer bringen. Dies ist jedoch leider nie passiert. Auch am nächsten Tag gab es keine Kleiderbügel an der Rezeption. Dennoch waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden und würden wiederkommen.

Wir haben ursprünglich ein kleines Stadthotel in einer netten Umgebung gebucht. Diese Reservierung wurde vom Hotel storniert. Das Ersatzhotel war zu weit weg von der netten Altstadt.

A big plus, air conditioning what works! The breakfast is not what I expected. Fruit Salad looks terrible like out of a tumble dryer. All the food including yogurt is low quality. A bummer since the rest of the hotel is good. Very confusing parking in terms getting the hotel tariff. The elevator outside is a total mess. It stinks and it is filthy, over 2 days it always had something else in there i needed to avoid to step in. I did feel unsafe overall outside and up the road. Lots of noise at night as both nights drunk people walking, screaming and singing at night several times.

The room and the hotel were really clean. And it is really quiet in the room, which is for me the most important. The only negative thing from my point of view about not to clean the room during the stay: this is for me only a way to spare money with the convenient excuse to protect the environment. All in all, I find this greenwashing quite annoying.
