"The house was clean and had a nice layout. Kitchen only had plastic plate/bowls. No glassware to reheat anything in microwave, we used paper plates.Pots/pans good. There is one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs, but no bathroom with the master suite. It is at the opposite end of the hall for all the rooms. The master bedroom has a stunning view of the lake and a nice sitting area with plenty of closet space. Each bedroom had the challenge of having enough wall plugs by the bed so that you could have a bed lamp and your cell phone, or anything else, plugged in at the same time.The design and age of the house includes “forced air “ heating so there are floor grates in every room. This allows you to see to the floor below, or above, and hear everything. While we did not need to use the heat, it definitely affects noise levels in the house, as did the plank wooden floors. The house has a beautiful view sitting right on the lake with plenty of windows to enjoy the view and the breeze. We enjoyed the kayaks as well as sitting on the porch and the views out the back windows. Although there is more roadside noise than expected, the house is located close to many things, which is very convenient. Our day trip to Portland was very easy to access as well. The host provided a book with plenty of information, clear house rules and check out procedures. We didn’t have any major needs to communicate, but the overall communication was better at the beginning than at the end."

"Great lake house experience. the outdoor area is spacious and with an amazing view of the lake. Firepit was so nice to have. Kitchen is fully stocked! The place is so comfortable, bathrooms seem newly updated and the appliances too. It's not in the pictures, so we were so happy to find a large TV in the living room to watch Football! Close to everything. The host gave us great restaurant recommendations. They were very responsive to all our questions about our stay. Will be back!"

"Everything you'd want in a Maine cabin get-a-way! The cabin was perfect for our visit and exactly as described. Tom and his wife were excellent hosts and had thoughtfully stocked the cabin. The outside space was amazing and the views were perfect! We will definitely be back again!"

"The barn is easily the best place I have spent while traveling out of town. Bethany was very responsive with communication and took care of whatever we may have needed. It was VERY convenient how the washer and dryer set up is in the bathroom. The fence around the patio and hot tub gave us plenty of privacy while we were there. Looking forward to coming back here next time I visit Maine."

"Great place for groups- close to all amenities of the Inn. The kitchen is very basic- no mixing bowls, very small stove, no sink stopper, etc. We did have a few spiders and the dead bolt malfunctioned so it would be easy to lock yourself out. Nice sized yard."
