"We loved our stay at Cabin A! It's such a short drive to the south national park entrance (for Longmire and Paradise). Less than 5inutes and we were in the park. The cabin is clean, clean, clean! It's cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for our 3-day stay. The hot tub was a much-needed and much-appreciated perk after our long hikes in the park. And a roaring fire in the fire pit was the perfect end to our days. The hosts, Angela and Myles, were kind, thoughtful, and communicative. We appreciated that they had the hot tub ready and heated for our first night We would definitely stay here again. Already looking at dates for the fall!"

"We were only there for 1 night. The room was clean & big enough for 5 people. The benches at the balcony were dusty though so I had to clean it myself. I like where it’s located which is to the end of the building & on 2nd floor. Great location & short drive to Mt. Rainier."

"Stayed here for an overnight trip to the park. Room was clean, the people at the front desk were very friendly. For the price, I expected a muffin basket or yogurt or snacks complimentary in the morning. They did have snacks available for purchase. Room and bathrooms were tidy. WiFi was good. Decent coffee. I’ve no complaints about the property."

"I had an overall pleasant stay at the Gateway Inn in Ashford, Washington. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its location—being right near the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park makes it incredibly convenient for anyone planning to explore the area. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and really adds to the experience. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There were a few drawbacks, however. The room we stayed in had a noticeable slant to the floor, which was a little unusual and took some getting used to. The internet service was also spotty at times, although the hotel does disclose this ahead of time, so it wasn't entirely unexpected given the location. Additionally, there were no TV channels available during our stay, which may be disappointing for guests looking to relax indoors after a day of exploring. That said, if your main goal is to enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Rainier and stay close to the park entrance, Gateway Inn is a convenient option with friendly service and a great setting. Just be prepared for a few rustic quirks that come with staying in such a remote and scenic area."

Its location near the Mt Rainier National Park made it the perfect home base for exploring the area. We loved the peaceful surroundings, charming atmosphere, and attention to detail. A perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. We would happily stay here again! "
