"Very nice old building with lots of original featues,lovely airy conservatory for breakfast, a bit misleading in photos of full english but only continental included in price, full english is an extra 12.50 pp, plus 18 pp for parking is a bit steep. Otherwise lots of stairs to our room on third floor as we were right in the eaves, so for those with mobility issues always best to check to be put on ground floor, also stairs down to restaurant/breakfast room, we had an enjoyable stay. "

"Have seen this hotel come up a few times and thought i would try it when i was working in the area. Being a golf club it has lots of extras, gym, spa, pool etc. The gym was well equipped with the latest tech, the pool area was lovely with a jacuzzi ,steam and sauna room. Clean changing rooms with ample lockers. The room was spacious with one of the largest beds ive seen, decent amenities, tea,coffee n biscuits. Great bathroom and shower. "We loved our stay! My spouse and I were initially unsure about the shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The grounds were delightful, and while the room was small, the design made it feel just right—cozy and well thought-out. Breakfast was a highlight: the morning walk to it added charm, and the meal itself brought real joy. The location was excellent—peaceful yet well-connected.
