"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. "The location of the hotel is very good for exploring the Tain L'Hermitage region just across the bridge on the other side of the Rhone. From here you can walk around the hill of Hermitage and visit the wineries. The hotel is in a grand building, stylistically refurbished and has a fantastic view from the outdoor swimming pool. The staff are young, enthusiastic and professional and the host was excellent in making suggestions for local restaurants and wine shops. I would recommend this hotel."
