On a working grain farm in the heart of the countryside, this gîte is located in an 18th-century stone building, opening onto a large square courtyard with a terrace. The owner lives on-site and guests have access to an unheated swimming pool (with secure access). Ground floor: living room/kitchen leading (via two steps) to the lounge, 1st bedroom (queen bed), 2nd bedroom (two single beds), shower room (accessible via two steps from the kitchen), WC. First floor: 3rd bedroom (queen bed, bathroom with bathtub and WC), 4th bedroom (two single beds). Wi-Fi. Oil-fired central heating included. Large garden at the rear (table tennis). High chair and cot available. All-inclusive gîte (except tourist tax): bed linen/beds made, towels, end-of-stay cleaning fee, heating, electricity, basket of wood for the wood-burning stove. Non-smoking accommodation. SWIMMING POOL OPEN: June 15th to September 15th. This cottage is not specifically adapted for people with disabilities. Located 10 km from Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, the Gîte du Malhureau is the ideal place for a family or group of friends. It enjoys a peaceful setting, close to the Loire Valley châteaux (Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau, Loches, etc.), the Wine Route (Cravant, Chinon, Bourgueil), and 35 minutes from Futuroscope.
