Beautiful and cozy lakefront log home of 1700 square feet over 3 floors (one a loft space with king bed plus 2 twin beds and full private bathroom), comfortably accommodating 8 people with 2 bedrooms downstairs ( 1 Queen Bed with fireplace and another bedroom with 2 Twin Beds), living room and dining area with wood fireplace, chef's kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms - one with a shower and laundry space and another with a whirlpool tub, as well as a solarium on the main floor with tranquil forest views. Sheets and towels are included, as well as a fully stocked kitchen with a gas stove. As we are a family ourselves, we can provide a crib with a firm mattress and cuddly soft bedding, a highchair, booster seats and a potty - you need only let us know when booking! Ample space surrounding the house invites playtime and 2 televisions (one on the main floor and the other located in the Queen Bedroom with fireplace) provide Satellite TV viewing. WiFi also on site.
The Chalet is located 5 minutes from the Village of St. Hippolyte (convenient for grocery shopping), 15 minutes from the Municipality of St. Sauveur (Outlet Shopping, Great Restaurants, Water Slide Park, Spas, ect. ect.), 40 minutes from Laval (Carrefour Laval Shopping Mall is arguably some of the BEST shopping in Quebec) and 1 hour from from Downtown Montreal - World Famous for its many Summer Festivals!
The lakefront is 300 feet from the Chalet and our lake (Lac Fournelle) is accessible by stairs leading to the shoreline and a dock, with ladder, leading into the water (5 to 6 feet deep but much deeper farther out.) Guests can access a canoe, fishing boat and pedalo from the dock. The lake is pristine ( no motorboats) and surrounded by beautiful cedar and maple trees with our property having over 425 feet of shoreline - perfect for exploring!
The Chalet was fully renovated in 2016, including all new mattresses.
