Paddle N Play Hideaway is a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin nestled in the heart of Buffalo River Country. Relaxing front porch, Fire Pit located one mile from Gilbert and minutes from Tyler Bend and Grinders Ferry. A great place to relax after floating the Buffalo or hiking the beautiful trails.

Great location for access to the Buffalo River float trips. Place was clean, beds were comfortable, coffee for Kurig was helpful!

Perfect spot

This place is a gem! Perfectly placed and well kept inside and out. Plenty of space, plenty of dishes, comfy beds and living room furniture! Great water pressure for your shower and the place held temp perfectly. They have an awesome binder with menus and suggestions. Just a couple minutes from family friendly areas on the river and good food! Becky was very easy to deal with and gave great recommendations!

Nice Place But...

Off the beat. Private, and very quiet. However, I did leave a few items of clothing behind. I did try to contact the owner about retuning the items at my expense, but I never heard a word. I can understand why they may not want to hassle with the return, but it would have been nice at least to get a follow up email instead of no response at all.

Hiking trip

The house is just as the pictures depict it. Very stylish with new appliances and bathroom features. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The other bedroom uses the common room bathroom that has a full tub/shower. Washer and dryer. Betsy, the property manager, was helpful with any questions I had. Will rent again for sure!

Comfortable furniture.

I picked this rental because the living room furniture looked comfortable, and it was. We came up to hike trails around the Buffalo River. The location on the road to Gilbert was great, the house was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with coffee, and the beds were good. Perfect cabin for us!

Family Float Trip

The property was amazing! There was plenty of room for my family of 5 grown kids. Having a washer and dryer along with two full bathrooms was great. The house was stocked with everything we needed and location to Gilbert was a very short drive. Will definitely book again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great weekend with friends! We came to float the Buffalo and enjoyed our time at Paddle and Play. The location is close to Gilbert and we used Buffalo Camp and Canoe at the Gilbert Store. Paddle and Play was a nice place to relax after driving over the first day and after a full day of floating the second day. It was just as described and super clean! Highly recommend!

Great location near the Buffalo River

We had a great time. The house was well equipped and was within a few miles of great hiking and scenery along the Buffalo River. The host was responsive and made some great suggestions about places to visit during our time!

I want to be stingy!

I want to be stingy and not give this place the review that it deserves because I don’t want anyone else to know about it. It was beyond excellent. Very generous hospitality. Super clean. Fantastic base camp for all the adventures in the area. Will be back!

We loved staying at this Vrbo it was so nice and peaceful. The owners were very responsive to any questions we may have had. We truly enjoyed our stay!!! Highly recommend!

I and 4 friends had a girls weekend. This little house was perfect and very close to Gilbert General Store to go on our float. Nice new clean house and the owners are great and very helpful. We plan to go back this fall!

Great experience.

This cabin is brand new and was perfect for our crowd of friends. It was only 3 minutes from the river. It was very clean, but none of the doors would shut in the cabin without force or slamming. That is the only negative thing I could find. It didn’t say on the listing what type of grill but it’s a gas grill.

Amazing!

This was such a beautiful place. Becky was a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process and made everything so easy for us! This was a road trip with my friend. It was perfect with a bedroom and bathroom for each of us. It offers peace and quiet but we still felt we were close to everything we needed. Would definitely book here again!!! Beautiful. Thanks!

Wonderful hosts!!

The property was almost new, close to the river, and well appointed. The furniture was comfortable. Nice patio in the country. Any gadget, gizmo, and supply you could need was there. The host even left out treats.

Great location

The place was clean and worked great for our trip. It’s close to Gilbert and a few restaurants and river outfitters. Be aware there isn’t Wi-Fi in the cabin, it’s not listed as having it. I just didn’t check, assumed it would be there, so if you must have it, maybe look elsewhere.
