"Great week at this rustic retreat - the house is ideally situated for exploring the Pyrenees. The host Philippe was very responsive, accomodating and gave us fantastic recommendations. The house and outside areas are very comfortable and the pool was really appreciated when the sun came out! We had a very special evening drinking wine in the garden in a thunderstorm storm and hearing the stags bellowing in the garden when the rain stopped. A great area for walking amd wildlife. "The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."
