"Boxotel isn't particularly fancy, but it has everything you need for a great stay in Montreal. It is located within easy walking distance to downtown, old Montreal, the mountain and the plateau. The rooms aren't big but they are modern, comfy and well equipped. The rooftop terrace is bright and private; and the breakfast bar gives you everything you need to get on your way in the morning. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back!"

The staff were supremely responsive — special requests were accommodated and questions were answered within minutes. The self check-in process was a breeze. Complimentary ear plugs were provided, but we didn’t need them. Noise was not an issue whatsoever, and we were in the room closest to street level. We’ve stayed in many places in MTL over the years, and this has been our favourite!"
