"Clean room with high quality furnishings in a good location. My only complaint is the dripping gutter in the courtyard outside my room which meant I got zero sleep. Mentioned it to reception staff at the time but apparently nothing could be done about it."

"Absolute Horror! Worse than a bad Motel. Moldy bathroom and other areas, peeling ceiling, dirty, floor old and missing tile throughout, musty smell bathroom, hardly room to walk to other side of bed, patio door difficult to lock properly, main door was dirty, falling apart and had to slam to get to stay closed, bath tub so high difficult to get in and water leaked outside on to floor, toilet in a dirty closet which to pull pants up had to open door or hit head on the door, hallways mold on walls, etc etc. why out for evening to not have to be in the room any longer than need be. I usually don’t complain but this was so awful and to be listed as a 4* was as far from the truth as you can get. Requesting refund for this severe falsely advertised experience. This would be a 1* at best. Makes me wonder who is providing and verifying these ratings. Stay away!"

"Allowed to check in super early which was much appreciated after a very early flight. Went straight to breakfast which was still on - great value and gorgeous. Proper orange juicer, boiled egg machine, fresh raspberries/blueberries & lovely pastries. No 11 bus from airport (€1.30) stops at St Charles le Marne stop just around the corner. You get back on for the airport at the stop just 1 min walk up street St Charles Victoria (one way system). 3 day bus ticket is just €8.60). Beach is end of street 3 minute walk. Shops are 10 min walk same direction then turn left. Room was small but fine. Good quality towels/toilet roll & rictuals shower gel/ shampoo & handwash. If you don't get room cleaned first day you get token for free soft drink/glass of wine - great value/idea. Windows opened fully which was great & air con heated room perfectly when needed (April stay). Sky News & BBC News on telly plus Netflix & ability to cast. Let us keep room on till 3pm last day for free as flight was later. Can't recommend hotel enough. Free sweets in jars in foyers and large umbrellas for use. Really friendly staff. On a quiet street with beautiful houses. Carrefour express & little bakery/chemist & pub just behind hotel, out front door & turn left, turn left just before bus stop opposite church. Walk up past Charlie's pub and swing left. Can't recommend enough! Get airport bus back & get Flix or Blabla car coach to San Sebastián from airport for day trip. "

"Good hotel for a single person. The room is rather small and the fancy bathroom walls and door provide no privacy. But the hotel is nice, located 10 minutes from the center, and the secure u/g garage is a huge bonus."
