Modern chalet accommodating up to 6 guests, located on the banks of the Shawinigan River in Saint‑Mathieu‑du‑Parc. Perfect for family getaways, couples, or friends. The mezzanine includes three queen beds, and a soundproofed closed bedroom with a queen bed is available in the basement.
Private thermal area with sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge. Professional massage services available upon reservation, depending on availability.
Reliable Wi‑Fi suitable for remote work. Automatic generator on site. Dogs are allowed under certain conditions (additional fees apply).
Guests have full access to the chalet, the yard, and the thermal area. The shed may be used by cyclists during the summer season. Self check‑in with a key box; the code is provided on the day of arrival.

  • A few weeks ago I camped at La Mauricie National Park located in the Province of Quebec. Let me start by saying this park is massive and loads to explore. It has a similar feel as Algonquin Park with the exception of a language barrier. While most people in the park are bilingual, some don't speak English at all so if you plan on going I recommend you knowing at least the basics like 'There's a bear on my site and he's eating dinner' hehe JK. But seriously learning the basics will help you communicate with others in this National Park. The park features plenty of lakes to portage and trails to hike. You can expect to see the standard wildlife often found in Eastern Canada such as Bear, Moose, Wolf, Raccoons, Squirrels and so forth, but you may also find some Woodpeckers too. Some believe there are Cougars here too but seeing them is quite rare. You can also swim, fish, and bike to name a few.

Great stay

We were very satisfied with our stay.The chalet is comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped all that is needed as far as cookware.The beds were comfortable.We appreciated all the extra attention to details(candles, decorations) The chalet was very clean and the communication with owner was fast and easy.Great place for a few days of exploring the area for winter sports.Highly recommended.

Chalet décoré avec goût à moins de 30 minutes du parc de la Mauricie.Le sous-sol n'est pas entièrement fini mais cela ne nuit pas au confort.Eric est un hôte hors pair.

Beau séjour pour fêter Noël

Ce fut un agréable séjour en famille, bel espace pour 6 personnes à proximité du Parc National et du Parc Récréoforestier de Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc. Le chalet est bien équipé, les lits sont confortables et le spa est un plus avec le ciel étoilé.
