"Séjour en couple d'une nuit en cours de voyage. Excellent accueil de la direction de l'hôtel qui s'est montré très attentionné. Nous avons même eu droit à un surclassement. Très bon repas bistronomique au rapport qualité/prix très raisonnable. Bonne cave. Bon petit déjeuner. Le patron et la patronne se sont mis en quatre pour nous rendre le séjour agréable. Le seul petit bémol, et l'aspect un peu vieillot des installations, mais il faut tenir compte de ce qu'il s'agit d'une vénérable...

"Large room. Restaurant was fully booked, when I checked in, which was disappointing. I have stayed here before and it was the main reason for booking. It is about 4 1/2 hours from the Mediterranean Sea, and is a handy break on the drive up or down from the boat. There is a large car park. Anyway There is a Pizzeria across the car park which seems to be part of another hotel, Campanile, which seems to be a sister hotel. I had a Pizza, which was fine, but in France, I don't really want Italian food. I have now checked and there other restaurants nearby that were not recommended by team members, and on this search, I have now also noticed multiple other chain hotels nearby and several restaurants. Breakfast was fine, but the coach passengers that were there seem to think I was an inconvenience having a breakfast that I had paid for, and some of them were extremely rude. I would have mentioned all of this at checkout, however the team member at checkout did not seem that interested in conversing, so I left the key and went on my way. Anyway, next time I am passing, I will widen my search and probably stay elsewhere."

"A very pleasant stay at the Grand Hotel and especially due to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They truly make you feel at home in the beautifully refurbished hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but would be even better if a little fridge was added because with the recent heatwave, you need to have fresh water in the room. Another improvement would be in the restaurant. Although the quality of the food on offer is absolutely excellent, the choice is limited and the same every night. If a few simple dishes were added to the menu, it would help people who are staying more than one night as the town of Evaux-les-Bains does not offer a lot of places to eat at. Still an excellent choice of hotel with a lovely pool and spa."
