"Clean room, quiet"

"This place is a gem centrally located in Salerno. It was steps from all the restaurants and shopping. The rooms were so clean, each one individually decorated. Chiara took good care of us! "

"Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). Parking nearby was a challenge, but you can park closer to the port & walk 10-ish minutes. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS to this property if you have a car. It takes you down narrow, historical streets that are extremely difficult to navigate. I would happily stay here again, especially now knowing the parking situation. Carmen is wonderful."

"We traveled throughout the mid section of Italy and this was the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at. Felt like a little piece of home and in an excellent location in town. Special mention to Amelia and Fabio, who's charm and warmth made you feel right at home. And Amelia's capachinos were belimisimo!!! "

"Nothing more could be asked of our host Luciana and Nora, who received us on our initial arrival. The rooms and breakfast area are finished in an inspired manner and tasteful. The bed was comfortable and room spacious. As would be seen in other reviews, it is a historic palazzo, there are renovations on going in the building, but not once did this distracted from our visit. The hotel space is completely finished. What an amazing find on the waterfront promenade, our host full of suggestions for local and regional activities and meals. Bellisso! "

"It was a lovely room in the old town. The only downside was the stairs (i.e. no lift to the first floor), but our host was excellent and helped us carry our heavy bags up to the apartment.The facilities were everything that we required for our short stay; there was a Moka for making coffee (we had decaf coffee in the evening using this) as well as a Nescafé coffee machine to make espresso. The kitchen facilities were good, and we managed to cook without any problems. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well, especially after walking down to the port for our day trip to Amalfi and Positano. There were no problems with noise on the street, as other reviewers had reported, but we were given a rude awakening when the dustbin collectors arrived at 04:30 to collect the bins, and then again at 06:30 when they came again to collect the bottles! It was a surprise we hadn't expected :-)Overall, a good experience."

"It is very well located. Coffee shops, dining places and shopping all very close. The ferry is 10 minutes away. The room was very clean. Communication with owner was very good. "
