Stayed for 3 nights with my husband to explore the area. Jimmy was a very friendly host, greeted us at check in, gave us dinner recommendations and was very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable stay - thank you!

Very nice owners, comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere
The Lodge at Poncha Springs is a wonderful boutique roadside hotel in the Salida/Chaffee County area in Colorado. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Its husband and wife owner/operators made every effort to make our stay a 5 star experience. The room we stayed in was Butler Cabin at the Masters Golf Tournament. All that could have been added was a pimento cheese sandwich and a refreshing beverage in a Master’s cup! We would definitely stay there again. What a cool unexpected experience! Thanks to the owner/operators for a wonderful stay.
Excellent spot. Have stayed here a couple of times. Small, but very cozy and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff and they are always willing to make good recommendations. I really love this part of Colorado and always have a great time here.

This property was disappointing. After a two night stay, it felt like the cost was 2 or 3 times what it should have been for an old roadside motel. Tiny rooms. No furniture except nightstand on one side of bed. No place to put anything other than on the floor in walkway from bed to bathroom. Useless tiny closet. Minimal electric outlets (no USB) with heavy use of extension cords. Bathroom sink way lower than normal height. Weak water pressure in shower, and no exhaust fan in tiny bathroom. Thin walls between rooms. No common area. No breakfast. No mountain view, unless you stand in the parking lot. This property advertises itself as rustic and cozy, with fire pit seating as a key amenity. Believe it. Some people might like this kind of 1950's "lodging", but just not what we expected for the cost/night. The best parts were that the hosts were friendly, the room was clean, and the TV worked.
Great place to stay before climbing Tabeguache Peak. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable beds, right off highway, enjoyed the old school atmosphere.
Great place, close to all local attractions, and had a great patio.

Super friendly and helpful hosts. Cute little cozy rooms. Affordable. On very cold nights, would pack a pair of slippers as the old rooms stay a bit chilly.
Room was small but great price. Super friendly staff.

Uniquely re-done little motel. Quirky, cute and amazingly comfortable. Beautiful outside areas to relax in, as well. We would have enjoyed staying there longer. Will definitely stay there again.
