Great location, close to everything! Very quiet, safe, clean and relaxing, the apartment has everything you need! They were very quick to respond about my early check in request & really friendly!!! Even had great bicycle ‘s to use to cruise the beach and town. I would highly recommend staying here!!

We gave this property a name, "the tool shed"

This is not on the beach. This looks to be a converted tool shed, at least our impression. Wake up to the washing machine running in the early morning. The door was not strong enough to stop anyone. There is no glass in the window openings.... Not worth your miney or time. I cant remember the last poor review i left, but this one earned it.

Las camas estaban llenas de excremento de lagartijo y un animalito muerto sobre la cama, las sábanas estaban manchadas de amarillo como si fuera orin. La apariencia del apartamento era deprimente.

Avoid at all cost!!! Horrible place.

Awful! First room had a water tank on it that made noise constantly. There were also exposed wires in the shower! They moved my colleague to a new room, but things got worse with my next room that I booked for someone else. The toilet didn’t work! The owner came by to fix it, but failed to do so and insisted things were fine. Once again, he moved my guest to a new room, but by then she had already booked a new room at a nearby hotel. So I was stuck with a room for two nights and the owner refused to refund. Absolute nightmare!

Hidden Fees

Upon arrival we have to call the owner which call the neighbor to give us the key. When he comes out with the key he also brings a piece of paper bag that had a 25% fee for the key. We were blackmailed to pay the fee for the key. I called the owner to explain the receipt on hand explained that if the taxes and fees were included we didn't have to pay anymore and they were. He claims that they were not after a few minutes of arguing we ceded and pay the fee. No receipt or paper given cash transaction. Who would trust these people with a credit card. After that experience everything is awkward especially when you have to see the neighbor all the time.

NIGHTMARE

From the service at first till the checkout it was a horrible experience that two days later stills harasses me. Even when my check in was on Friday the owner pushed to get the keys on Friday instead of my check in on Saturday, he charged my extra money for some "random charges" that hotels.com doesn't include, i checked out leaving the keys at a place he asks now he "doesn't find the keys" and wants to charge extra for the lost keys and a "late checkout fee" with no reason. I do encourage you to NEVER book this place as the nightmare is not worth the sleep in a noisy, moldy room just to be close to my kids for their event in Salinas.
