Wonderful

Had a lovely 3 night stay whilst we were over for a wedding. The room was lovely and clean, with everything we could need. We chose to only have breakfast on the first morning, as it was cheaper to walk into town.
Our only disappointment was that we only found out that we had to pay for parking the day before we arrived. Parking was one of the main reasons that we chose the hotel, so this was a bit annoying. At least it was discounted.
We stayed here as a base to visit Stonehenge. We were surprised at the quality of our stay here. The staff were very nice and helpful. It is a small parking lot and they had a function which took up the lot. The staff were incredibly helpful in find a spot for me, so I didn't have to park off site. The room was excellent, clean spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Had dinner in the main restaurant. The food and service - 5 stars. Overall our family had a wonderful time here. Close to all the local attractions: Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Salisbury Cathedral Close and Stonehenge.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Lack of service and solution oriented front desk when I had an issue with the room (lack of hot water). Was practically degraded instead of compensated. In addition poor information from front desk during check in.
Restaurant and bar.
Restaurant wouldn’t let us order and pay for main course only. We did not want 2
Courses.
White wine selection was poor, 1 x
Spanish or Chardonnay.
PROs
Good location, large comfortable clean room
Modern hotel, good public area
Excellent breakfast
CONs
Inconsistent helpfulness of staff.
I was overcharged a small amount at check-in
Overall a very nice hotel.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We used to stay here years ago and it's slowly gone down hill. Breakfast ok but nothing fantastic. Used to be much better service. Room was terrible - absolutely roasting with a ridiculous small fan which did nothing.
We had a good stay. The staff was reluctant to serve us dinner because they had other bookings - which was a bit strange - we wound up at a nearby Italian restaurant.
Mooi hotel zo’n 500 m van het centrum met haar leuke plein en winkels. Aardig personeel ook. De gezellige sfeer in het hotel ontbrak wel. Deed wat stil aan ook Verder prima voor een nachtje.
It was a quaint hotel. The staff were extremely friendly. We really appreciated Simon, the bartender, Victoria the manager, Katelyn and Angie as well. There were others I didn’t catch their names. The breakfast buffet was outstanding as was the restaurant. The location was perfect to be able to walk to City Centre. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Salisbury and the surrounding countryside.
The hotel has been recently refurbished and was delightful and the bedroom excellent. The staff were so helpful and to park in the hotel car park was a bonus. Just a short walk into Salisbury was perfect. The only downside was the hotel restaurant as the food was very disappointing. The food had obviously been frozen and did not resemble the pictures on the website. There was only one other couple eating there so maybe other guests chose to eat locally. However I would recommend staying there and we will return.
Great location to the town. Within 10 mins walking distance.
Clean hotel. Nice decor and layout.
Walls and floors are a little thin and noise from other rooms to the sides and above could be heard.
Fortunately other guests went to sleep before me, or I may not have had the great sleep I did.
Staff were generally pleasant, but a little disorganised. Not one peice of info was shared on check in, eg, breakfast times and where breakfast was.
Only reason I wouldn’t stay again would be the thickness of walls / potential for noise disruption.
Room was well decorated and clean but stains on the carpet spoilt the look. Shower and sink hot water was tepid despite running it for over 10 mins. Breakfast was plentiful and good choices but hot food on warming buffet style plates was lukewarm.

Nice restaurant onsite. Lovely comfortable bed. Very clean and lovely breakfast.
The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean, bright and had an excellent location. The staff were courteous and friendly, particularly the young lady on the reception desk when we arrived. The room was large with a modern bathroom but despite the Expedia booking showing a king bed, it was only a double.
The quality of food for breakfast was very good but, particularly on the Sunday morning, lots of things had run out and when I asked for some pastries half an hour before breakfast closed, I was told there wouldn’t be any more.
