The staff were always friendly and helpful and the room was kept beautifully clean. The hotel was in a good location too. Just wish there had been a kettle/tea making facilities in the room. Also, had to pay extra to use the safe in the room which I hadn’t realised before I arrived.

Hotel Planas was central to all amenities in Salou, very close to the beach. bus stops were also very close and the buses were regular, Hotel staff were very helpful and efficient, this is the second time we have stayed at the Planas and would definitely stay there again,

Catastrophique..à fuir !

Attention les photos ne correspondent absolument pas à la réalité, à notre arrivée on s'est retrouvé avec une grande chambre froide et triste avec 2 lits durs , une prise électrique à côté du sommier donc impossible de charger les 2 téléphones en mm temps, un long couloir sombre, aucune décoration, une SDB qui date des années 80 , et un balcon plein de moisissures et des odeurs désagréables ( égouts ), petit déjeuner médiocre servi par un Mr. mécanique qui fait pas d'effort même pas un sourire rien !!! À part l emplacement y a rien à recommander ds cet hôtel !! À NE PAS RECOMMANDER !!!!

Cheap and Cheerful!

Scottish tourists here. Have to say that Hotel Planas was a surprisingly great choice. My partner and I usually work on a bit of a budget and go for value accommodation, preferring to spend more outside the hotel than inside. I have to say the exterior of the building is decent and recognizable enough that it was easy to find and it was positioned a mere minute walk from the beach and a good restaurant was right opposite. Outside is lovely with a clean pool/sun-bathing area, seating area and very pleasant bar with accommodating staff. The hotel itself looks great and welcoming in the main foyer and staff were always great and did great speaking English and ordering taxis for us. The rooms were a little more dated than the foyer but for us who prefer to be out and about it was perfectly acceptable for the price. Adjustable air con for the room was a very welcome essential given the outdoor temperature, and that alone made stepping into the room a giant relief. Downsides were the bathroom which had a shabby shower, with wobbly head that was hard to direct and a bit of a sewage smell, especially in the morning, but nothing unbearable. The beds/mattresses were rock solid but we managed to get our heads down easily enough. I think the biggest unavoidable downside for HP is the location amidst a noisy traffic junction. In the pool or chilling on the patio, vans were idling and fast cars were firing past. Even still, we would not hesitate to return given the value. Thank you HP!

Boa estadia

O hotel é muito bem localizado, de frente para a praia. Bem próximo da estação de trem de Salou e tem um ponto de ônibus na frente que leva para os principais pontos turísticos da região e de Barcelona, inclusive os aeroportos e o parque temático PortAventura. O hotel é bem simples, não recomendável para quem procura luxo.

Бронировала стандартный одноместный номер. При въезде дали номер без балкона с окном с видом на внутреннюю рабочую зону. Позже уже почитала на сайте, что в основном все одноместные номера с балконом, но мне "посчастливилось" жить без балкона. Видно надо было заранее связываться с отелем и выражать свои предпочтения. Номер вполне комфортный, но из-за того, что окно выходит на внутреннюю рабочую зону, то по ночам был слышен шум работающих механизмов, думаю вентиляторов. Уборка ежедневная, но не идеальная - под кроватью пыль. Расположение отеля удобное, от тусовочной зоны в районе километра, пляж в 2х минутах через дорогу, завтраки хорошие европейские, ужины на выбор из 5- предложенных блюд. Вино за ужином стоит 6 евро, это же вино в супермаркете за 1,75!!! В целом позитивный настрой и все огрехи отеля сглаживаются. Наслаждайтесь отдыхом!!!
