The Penelope Studios has wonderful location in Kokkari, with nice breeze in summer. The most beautiful beach is nearby.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Terrible experience! Owner Lucia first told us she couldnt cancel our reservation and we paid for sea viev rooms then she didnt give us sea viev rooms. We paid 2 sea viev rooms ans get mountain view rooms. When we told this to her she gave a silly answer by giving “windows see the sea” it is like 5 cm wide view. They took our money more and treated very rude!! Everyones experience is different but if they to this to anyone they can do to you! So dont choose this hotel go any where near to kokkari center, hotel is too far grom center and you go up many stairs to reach.

Just a shame

Not our best accommodation on our hop around the islands, our 5th island and poorest accommodation. It was so small and very badly equipped you really had to eat out. The fridge was disgusting could not put food in. The balcony was tiny barely enough room to sit out. Housekeeping nearly non existed, same towels all week. Reception was at a close by hotel but there was never anyone there. You could send an email which did work. The studios themselves were reached by climbing near enough fifty steps of all shapes and sizes. Where my husband and I are retired we are fit but did find by the end of our holiday here the steps were becoming a problem. We did not notice this in details when booking.

Note positive: 1- la titolare è stata molto gentile prima del nostro arrivo, prenotandoci un taxi e dandoci alcuni suggerimenti. 2- buona location, vicino alla spiaggia più bella della città e vicina alla zona dei ristoranti. 3- economico Era un'opzione di viaggio economica e ne eravamo consapevoli, purtoppo però la camera era sporca (soprattutto il bagno) e, nonostante fosse prevista la pulizia ogni 4 giorni, non venivano rispettate le tempistiche e la pulizia era comunque molto superficiale. I tappeti scendi-letto erano persino rigidi...Probabilmente erano stati lavati solo a inizio stagione. Asciugamani maleodoranti. È presente un angolo cottura, ma non c'è praticamente nulla: avevamo un bicchiere in 3! Da tenere in considerazione per chi viaggia con bambini che per arrivare alla zona dei ristoranti ci sono circa un centinaio di scalini. Tra l'altro ci hanno consegnato la camera con dentro le valigie di altri ospiti...
