My experience
Service was amazing! You get what you pay for. I wasnt expecting anything fancy and please dont. The price justifies what you get. My only complaint is the roach issue.
The place was barely a one star and that’s only because people make up the star system. The pictures are deceptively advertised. I was compelled to choose the place since I was at the Final Four and could not get a room at a competitive price, but when I showed up, I said, this isn’t the place. It’s called, The Inn at Market Square on the advertisement. When you show up it has a broken sign that reads the inn and stay. The area the facility looked seedy. I ended up, driving around downtown San Antonio and then going to the locations web site and booking a room which was very expensive, but after that experience. It was worth it. They should be fined for deceptive practices, why is this place even listed on a national site for lounging and tourism.
Lady at check in was friendly ( that was the ONLY good thing) room was smelly, dirty n it had one bed, I had booked a 2 bed..we were moved to another room, didn't smell bad because she sprayed it but afterwards it was smelly!! beds were not comfortable at all, bedding didn't smell clean, no housekeeper around, had to go look for someone to exchange towels, floor was dirty, restroom sink was broken (tacky repaired), NO WI-FI, appliances were dirty , couldn't use coffee maker, it was filthy!! Toilet made a loud weird noise everytime we'd flush, unsafe door lock it didn't seemed it was locked.. very little lighting, one of the lamps over the bed wasn't working.. based from the pictures, seemed they have a breakfast area ,which they don't, they don't offer breakfast or a common area to sit.. it's NOTHING like it seems on their website pictures.. NOTHING, NOTHING AT ALL!! On there it doesn't mention anything about it being under repairs, which is what we were told when we got there, wish they would've given a heads-up but NOPE.. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED, WOULDN'T recommend it to NOBODY, not even my worse enemy!! NEEDS ALOT of IMPROVEMENTS!!! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!! The ONLY reason I gave them 1 star was because of that lady at check in!! THE WORST place we've ever stayed at in San Antonio!!
Some of the hotel rooms had padlocks and there was a cop investigating a crime on the property. This place should not even be on the list, Expedia do better.
That’s is worst place anyone Can stay. Roaches everywhere!! Nasty floors and no pillows covers. States Two Nights and unable to leave as there we’re no vacancies near by. I would never stay here again. They did not clean room after first night. Looks like people lived there.
We stayed at that hotel to be close to downtown and also to the Alamodome, where we were going to attend a concert, so I wanted something close, but it was a bad idea. The hotel is crowded, run down, and has lots of little cockroaches, especially in the bathroom. Outside the room in the early morning, you could hear people partying. When you went to the office, there wasn't always someone answering the phone; they posted a "Back Soon" sign with a phone number in case of an emergency.
