The hotels in San Diego especially near the airport are really expensive but this one is priced reasonably. It was an apartment type and there is a common kitchen where you can heat up food and free water and ice until 9pm. The room is clean too and smooth check-in process. The location is just at the back of Little Italy strip which is great.

I arrived before check-in time, but the staff let me check in without any trouble, which I really appreciated. The hotel is a little far from grocery stores, but it’s easy to reach from the station and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I think it’s a great base for exploring San Diego.

We loved that it was a gated community so not just any one could show up. The biggest thing that made me happy was that they allowed us to do early check in, we had a lot of luggage we would of had to carry around if it were not for that.

This hotel is steps away from little Italy. Perfect for visiting restaurants. Not far from the airport and San Diego zoo. It’s in a building with a gated entrance. The building is a bit dated but the room was clean and perfect size for a couple. We only stayed for the weekend but it was the perfect base to visit little Italy, La Jolla and the zoo. Beds and pillows were comfortable. No turn down service but you can get new towels as often as needed. Mini fridge in room. Shower pressure was amazing.

I really liked how close this place was to so many restaurants and great food options. There were plenty of places within walking distance, which was super convenient. I also felt very safe in the area, which I really appreciated. The only thing I noticed was that Lyft/Uber drivers sometimes had a little trouble with the drop-off location. It seemed like the exact spot was a bit hidden, but it was never far off and easy enough to walk to. Overall, I really enjoyed the location!
